My coworker ordered a burger today and got back to work and open her bag and it was a piece of chewing gum on the side of the burger and so she called and the lady was sweet over the phone but when she took it back to get something else she was treated horribly, the owner was rude and disrespectful and threw her money at my coworker and told her to never return to her restaurant as if she was considering returning, when they were obviously in the wrong. When things like this happen you supposed to take responsibility for your actions and do the right thing and replace her food or hand her money back politely. I’d never recommend this place or eat there!!!

My wife and I stopped in on our way home for New Orleans and were absolutely DELIGHTED with Tater's Cafe. Burgers are mixed daily and you can tell. Beef was well seasoned and cooked. The bacon is thick cut, and cooked to perfection. The shining star was the service. Our server was absolutely lovely. We will definitely make our way back in the future.

This place is absolutely astronomical! If you’re in McComb or near Summit this place is a must! Some of the best homemade, down South cooking I’ve ever had. We had the Friday special: Catfish filet, 6 fried shrimp, 2 homemade hush-puppies, fries, and baked beans. It also came with a large drink and a slice of cake! All for about 13-14$. You CANNOT beat that! The lady and gentlemen we talked to were also so sweet and friendly. We were stopping through going back towards Jackson. Whenever I’m back in the area I will be stopping by here again.
