My coworker ordered a burger today and got back to work and open her bag and it was a piece of chewing gum on the side of the burger and so she called and the lady was sweet over the phone but when she took it back to get something else she was treated horribly, the owner was rude and disrespectful and threw her money at my coworker and told her to never return to her restaurant as if she was considering returning, when they were obviously in the wrong. When things like this happen you supposed to take responsibility for your actions and do the right thing and replace her food or hand her money back politely. I’d never recommend this place or eat there!!!

This place is absolutely astronomical! If you’re in McComb or near Summit this place is a must! Some of the best homemade, down South cooking I’ve ever had. We had the Friday special: Catfish filet, 6 fried shrimp, 2 homemade hush-puppies, fries, and baked beans. It also came with a large drink and a slice of cake! All for about 13-14$. You CANNOT beat that! The lady and gentlemen we talked to were also so sweet and friendly. We were stopping through going back towards Jackson. Whenever I’m back in the area I will be stopping by here again.

After eating here several times, I think the plate Lunch options are better later in the week. Their prices have slightly increased on the plate Lunches also. It's nice to see they have a local following. Parking has gotten Slightly better Since the DPS ( Driver's License office) is now by Appt only.
Parking: Each business has a set # of parking spaces. In the past, the Driver's license office customers WERE USING MANY of the spaces designed for other businesses. This has been resolved.

As a Summit resident, it is far easier more convenient (and generally more affordable) to order food here.This establishment is generally hosted by three sweet ladies who are very kind and welcoming. They provide prompt and excellently service - if you call in an order, it only takes about 10 - 20 minutes for it to be ready.The prices are very fair, especially with the prices of similar meals from fast food places being the same if not more in terms of price. That said, the food very easily beats any fast food you’ll get. The burgers are hefty and fill you up, and they even have lunch specials of a good variety.The only downside is it is a little difficult to park here sometimes, especially if it’s busy - as three or four businesses share a tiny parking lot. That aside, I have no real issues, just that little nitpick. If you drive a smaller car, it shouldn’t be an issue.11/10 is the rating I give this restaurant, go and support fantastic small businesses like these!
