The staff is courteous, helpful and and very nice to the customers. Ward's in Collins is hands down the very best place to eat breakfast. They make fresh homemade style biscuits every morning. The breakfast platter can't be beat. They also have very good biscuits and sausage gravy as well as really good tomato gravy and biscuits. The food would have been good if it had been prepared as I ordered. I got about 10-12 fries in a small order. The fries bag was a little over half full. When I asked about the amount, the manager was not too pleasant. I was unable to go inside and didn't have time to debate the issue. I left the restaurant disheartened and had to get my day started.
