Was pleasantly surprised with Bishops BBQ. Their brisket came highly recommended but we didn't expect much when we walked in. Friendly and helpful staff with amazing food. Brisket was just the right kinda tender, and the gator tater chips were great. Will be back next time I'm in town.

I would give this little restaurant 10 Stars. The food was amazing. You have to try the sweet potato casserole. YUMMY! Eat in or take out, the choice is yours. The ladies were so very nice.

First of all let me start by saying I am from Chicago Illinois where we live on rib tips. I was so excited to see a barbecue restaurant that had rib tips here in Tupelo Bishops here in Tupelo Cuts their rib tips in thirds after they chop it off of the brisket bone itself. It looks like chipped beef or cubes of stew meat. How cheap do you have to be to cut a single rib tip into thirds. That is some cheap lowbrow stuff right there! That is not the way to go! Chop up the brisket bone one time and leave it alone rib tips should be lengthy in their appearance and not cut into small cubes! I paid $12.99 plus tax for something that looks like chipped beef! I want my money back! Quit being so cheap Bishops! Chop up the brisket bone and leave it alone quit trying to make a million dollars off of one half of a brisket bone and charging $13! I will never go there again!

Very courteous staff. The food is awesome! This is my #1 place to get pulled pork. Cheesecake is amazing as well.

Just placed a door dash order and my food was hot when I received it so I thought it was fresh, and when I tasted it, it tasted like it was microwaved. The Mac & cheese was not good & the baked beans were the worst I’ve ever had. It tasted like it came straight out the can & nothing was added to it. I am disappointed because in 2021, the food was much better.

It's a little way into Tupelo city on Main Street. The BBQ was nice and tender. Service was great. All in all, a great experience.

My family and I went to bishop BBQ grilll the other night. We didn't realize that it was closing time but we were treated so nice. I hated that we had waited so late but they didn't get upset even when we messed up on our order. The manager had to come out and when I tell you that she is the nicest person that I have encountered. She was all smiles even though it was closing time and even though she had to fix our order. If you're looking for good food and good service, then this is the place you should go

My mom & I stopped by today for our first time. Outstanding pulled chicken plate & beef brisket plate. We ordered extra to take home .

Pulled pork was tender and flavorful, Jazzy BBQ sauce was WOW, homemade onion rings were tasty, sweet potato casserole was meh, and a little disappointed that the fried pickles ended up being fried spears :/ I’d def go back for the pulled pork with Jazzy sauce though!

First and foremost, let me say I have eaten at Bishops Bar-B- Que for years. We started eating at Bishops when the owner only had the Saltillo restaurant. And the food and price were awesomely pair! At the time of this post, it's 3:07pm in the afternoon and the food\\price were awful. The cole slaw (which me and my daughter get everytime we go) was spoiled. I got the Brisket plate (small in size) which cost $15.99 without drink. The plate comes with brisket, 2 sides and a thick butter texas toast- no drink. I got cole slaw and sweet potato casserole. The 3 pieces of brisket was tough and very thin. Be mindful, I've ordered this plate before and was very pleased. Normally, the brisket is a good cut-not too thick but meaty. Not this time. The only thing on my plate that I could eat and did not disappoint me was the texas toast and sweet potato casserole. I believe if the sweet potato casserole was bad, I would have gotten up and left the restaurant- Bishops would be dead to me- LOL! My husband potato salad wasn't fresh either and his brisket was tough as well. So, to the owner of Bishops, please watch over the quality of the food served. I understand the price change but as long time customers, we should be able to enjoy our meal and we didn't this time.
