“Downunder is a favorite of mine. Their usual dinner menu and drinks are great. However, I watch their social media for their weekend specials. They are phenomenal. This past Valentine’s Day made me write this review. They had a special menu. Choice of salad. The entree was either a Gorgonzola crusted filet with mushroom sauce with mashed potatoes and Brussels or a seafood linguini scampi. 🦞 🦪 🦐 🍝 My husband and I got each entree. I got the scampi. I can’t explain how delicious it was. I suppose it’s just a really good chef in north Mississippi with fresh seafood incorporating seafood broth properly into a sauce. But. We are so inland it is hard to find. And the pasta was perfectly cooked. Of course the steak 🥩 was cooked perfectly medium rare for my husband. We both got the tiramisu for dessert. 🧑🏼‍🍳😘 All this to say. Many people come to downunder for a late night bar experience. But the food is above and beyond. Especially the specials. And the bartenders can make many a cocktail beyond the standard menu. 🥃 If you have not tried out downunder yet, I highly recommend!!”

“Annual birthday dinner with my cuh 🫶🏻 I will tell you right now - This place is top notch- I have visited quite a few restaurants in my day and in my 20s I was everything from an overnight Dennys server- cocktail server- bartender- you name it and I can say good ol’ Chase Jobos Tupelo is one of the most efficient - pleasant- “natural” - attentive- patient- KIND - relatable I could go on and on as I am good with adjectives- anyway - server I have had in quite some time- I told him he HAS to enjoy people to serve the way he does and he accredited his dear mother as she is like “Santa Clause on Prozac” ( I will be using that and have shared it with a couple of people already- cause he was ever so clever to boot- I guess my point in all that is Sage, my son, usually leaves all the reviews and I leave none but I was moved to give a shout out to this restaurant and Chase as I did decline the complimentary bread pudding but I ordered the greatest mocktail I have ever had - I’m leaving the recipe here and I am sure to be finding a way to make this at home 🤭🫶🏻 rustye's elixer dessert pear + yuzu, lemon, sprite. No idea what yuzu is but I strongly believe Amazon has everything- Anyway- this was a perfect ending to a truly blessed birthday weekend 🧑‍🍳💋”

We came at 3:45pm on Monday and the place was almost empty, but we were told it was a 10-15 min wait. (Shift change apparently) so we sat at the bar instead of waiting for a table. Emily was amazing!! My wife has celiac and she answered ours questions with understanding and even showed us the QR nutritional and allergy guide on the last page of the menu. BIG help there. 10/10 would recommend going to the bar and seeing Emily!!!”

I'm giving each ice cream and the homemade waffle cone a score... waffle cone was not to sweet which I prefer it was soft and very tasty I gave it a 8.5 I didn't eat it all 😆. I had the banana split ice cream I give a 10/10 it was the best I've ever had. I also had the mint chocolate chip I'm also giving a 10/10 and last but not least I had the peanut butter Oreo it was a 7/10 I really wanted to try the peanut butter fudge but they didn't have it and I really wanted a banana split but they didn't have any bananas so all in all I have to take my son there so he could try it out”

“We visited today and goodness what a gem! The bbq was absolutely delicious and I’m already sad we didn’t get some to take home for later 😂. My husband had the half serving of bbq nachos, I had the bbq sandwich with slaw on the side (not on sandwich), baked beans and fresh cut fries. The lady that took our order found out it was our first time and thoroughly and kindly explained some helpful tips on ordering. The food was absolutely hot and fresh, delicious to a T! Very clean and comfortable setting to dine in. Priced reasonably and all the drink you want at the self serve fountain machine. We didn’t have to wait long at all for our food to come out to us. We will definitely be back! I’m only sorry we’ve not been before now. This bbq rivals some we’ve had in Texas and we are so happy it’s close to home! Friendly folks and delicious food!!”

The cupcakes were moist and the icing was the perfect consistency. The double doozie cookie was filled to the edge with icing and the cookie was still soft and held its shape while we ate it. The macarons had beautiful feet and the perfect softness inside. The fudge was rich and decadent. We will definitely be back!!”

Once you get there though and find a parking spot, never mind the drive through which can also be a trying experience, the food is always good and the staff friendly and helpful.”

From the warm cookies provided upon our arrival to the ease and friendliness of our check in and the nice staff, the effortless access of the laundry area and the excellent made to order breakfast, we felt cared for perfectly. The rooms are clean and there is a very nice restaurant almost on site. There is a park complete with Elvis statue for Harley riders like us who are completing the 10 for 23 challenge right across the street. We loved it and had a great time. After enduring many hotels that used Covid as an excuse to provide lousy service, it’s refreshing to stay at a hotel that truly has the customer in mind. I only wish we could have stayed longer!”

“I think this restaurant South Gloster location need someone to teach them better customer service skills. I got a disturbing call from my teenage son and his friends that they was requesting them to give the staff their identification and credit cards to eat there. I spoke with the manager and no denying only to hear them say it was for large parties of 6 or more. I'm beyond pissed because I have eaten there several occasions with over 20 people NEVER requested this. I have a few reasons as to why this happened but I will just say for the future If you going to treat people like this then you need to close to public.”

“My husband and I tried Steak N Shake for the first time this evening and were blown away! Our burgers and fries were absolutely delicious. The staff was very sweet and talked to us for awhile! On top of the fabulous food and conversation, we enjoyed Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup and Nutella milkshakes!! So good! We will definitely be back soon!!!”

There is a restroom and a couple tables and chairs. Mostly to go food.
We had sweet and sour chicken with house lo mein , and coconut shrimp with house fried rice. No pics of the food because we ate it before I remembered to get a pic of that.”

“My first visit inside and quite some time. I usually go through the drive-through. If you haven’t been inside for a while be prepared to use their computer kiosk to place your order inside yourself. However the staff is very friendly and assisted me with that. Definitely a good Taco Bell branch to go to”

“I went thru the drive thru this afternoon (8-19-26 around 3:50pm) and was met with the most pleasant voice. I gave my order and the gentleman thanked me and said he appreciated me. One doesn’t normally expect such a warm response to an order through a microphone. When I got to the window to pay, he greeted me with the biggest sweetest smile and hoped my day was going well. He said he appreciated having the opportunity to serve me and hoped I would come back. Now, this may be too much for some people but for me, I really needed that smile and sincerity. I hope his supervisor reads this because he deserves recognition at the very least. I did not catch his name, but, thank you sir. You made my day!”

“This was literally the cleanest Waffle House we’ve ever been to. The food was really good, it was warm AND the best part was the service. The lady who took care of our table was super nice and attentive. The guys cooking and the rest of the staff were also really respectful and they all worked well together.”
