“I was raised in Tupelo and last week I was in town to visit for several days, for the first time in as many years. I ordered my filet a Pittsburg medium and it came out cooked perfectly. How many restaurants have you ever been in that even knowns how to cook a steak Pittsburg medium-rare or medium? I'll wait why you think of somewhere. They are famous for their Prime Rib! My friend has celiac disease and the owner stopped by the table and shocked her by explaining that they offer most items on the menu as gluten free. She had cornbread for the first time in years and her food was also excellent. If you want an old fashion steakhouse that is a city institution, then by all means stop in Woody's and discover why it is legendary.“

“Best catfish your going to find in or near Tupelo. Great hamburger steaks with / without onions and gravy. Last but not least ribeye steaks cut fresh ,to me fantastic seasonings you don’t need any sauce . And then most every night chocolate cobbler .“

“Went in the afternoon during the week so there was no wait. Waiter was friendly, food & drinks were great. However, my husband did find hair in his mac and cheese. We were seated in back by the kitchen and I observed that no one in the kitchen had on hair nets. I'm guessing it's not mandatory but it's definitely not a bad idea. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 ⭐.“

“I never had tx roadhouse until i visited tupelo. Everything i tried l was a hit. The salmon, steak, rice, and buttered corn were my go-to. They were also very generous with the rolls. Service was sometimes lackluster (be prepared for long wait times) but i guess its because of how busy they tend to be. I hope i find a location back home and i pray when i do, the food is just as good.“

“Small town restaurant with pretty good steaks. The steak for 2 is a good deal, you can split it, and each get two sides. I also had the fried shrimp plate. You get 8 shrimp with two sides for around $22, or sub out 1 side for a salad bar trip (one small bowl of salad) for an extra $3.50. The live music is nice! It’s a nice alternative if you don’t want to drive into Tupelo. It’s not a cheap place to eat though at all. It doesn’t compare to Red Lobster or Longhorn in my opinion. Just local grub, nothing fancy, but decent food.“

“Daphnie B was the most amazing server we have had in last 5 years of going to restaurants. Our drinks never emptied and she put our orders in so they were perfectly timed so they didn't come out all together. All together amazing experience.“
