First time there and last time there. Only one server, my food was cold. Chicken tenders hard. Instead of re cooking my food, they warm it up. I had to ask for napkins twice. Very disappointed and will not recommend. I felt unwelcome because I heard someone say she getting on my nerves. Never again!!

First time eating there. The waitress was kind and the food came quickly. The food lacked taste is my only issue. Gravy biscuits was good but omelet was small and flavorless, bacon was flavorless, and they ran out of grits. So I couldn't try those out. Drink was good and cold. Service was good just lacked flavor overall. I feel waffle house food is 20× better.

Great breakfast, pleasant and attentive staff, what's not to love. I had the biscuits and gravy (one country, one chocolate) with two eggs cooked perfectly, along with cheese grits — fantastic.

As we walked up we were greeted by an older gentleman outside. He was all smiles and very welcoming. He asked if it was our first time and said we were in for a treat.

Inside we were welcomed by a young woman who also turned out to be our waitress. She was very friendly and welcoming.

The menu was well laid out and everything sounded great.

The service was fast and, as I hoped, the food did not disappoint! Pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs, and hash brown casserole…all delicious.

Best of all, it’s local. Which is always better.

I might need to find a reason to return to Tupelo soon so I can stop in here again.

Perfect breakfast spot! Absolutely loved everything we got. My husband and I were taken back in memories of our mom's cooking, with awesome fried green tomatoes and fantastic chocolate gravy for biskits. Would definitely recommend!

None of your business

Wait time was way too long, took an hour get food for 2 people. Waitress sucked and never checked on us at all. food was not good either and was cold and mushy by the time we did finally get it. Avoid this place

Almost Perfect

We came to D’Cracked egg on a Friday around 9:45am for breakfast before a long day working an exhibit hall at a conference. The menu is near perfect. All the hits and no misses with reasonable prices.

The food was really good, flavorful, and high quality. I ordered D’big bird with three eggs, sausage, country ham, hash brown casserole, and a short stack. Eggs were a perfect over medium. The hash brown casserole was cheesy and savory. The meats were salty and full of flavor and the pancakes were really nice and surprisingly many places miss the mark but not here. My coworker got D’country which is biscuits and gravy, eggs, and hash brown casserole. You can also get cheese grits casserole too. Other than the gravy being cold it was also a great combo. I think the biscuits were plated first then had to wait on eggs and my meal to be cooked prior to service.

Where d’cracked egg fell flat was service. They were extremely kind and welcoming but they must have been still in the weeds from the breakfast rush because after we were served coffee it took many minutes to get our order taken and then another long wait for food. It was worth the wait and they acknowledged it had been slow. A less patient person might have left.

Give this place a try. I think today’s service was a fluke.
