Downunder is a favorite of mine. Their usual dinner menu and drinks are great. However, I watch their social media for their weekend specials. They are phenomenal. This past Valentine’s Day made me write this review. They had a special menu. Choice of salad. The entree was either a Gorgonzola crusted filet with mushroom sauce with mashed potatoes and Brussels or a seafood linguini scampi. 🦞 🦪 🦐 🍝
My husband and I got each entree. I got the scampi. I can’t explain...
Two friends and I dropped in for dinner! We each had the 12-ounce ribeye and it was without doubt the best steak I have ever had! The roasted veggies were delish also! Drinks and staff were awesome!
We popped in here to grab a late dinner on a one night stay in Tupelo for a work trip. I was intrigued by the menu since I realized I had never been to a restaurant that specialized in Australian cuisine. Didn’t realize Indian food was part of the equation but it made sense once I thought about it due to the ties to Great Britain! It’s got a dive bar feel and is located in a basement giving the “down under” name a cheeky double entendre. Had some very good butter chicken...
