Employees ensured us that they were perfectly capable of fulfilling the cake order. Placed order. Called the day before pickup to confirm pickup time. Employees were unable to locate order but again ensured it would be ready the next day. Went for pickup; cake wasn’t AT ALL want I wanted and it wasn’t finished.

Got lunch here and there were several people working and nobody was wearing a mask. Ordered meal with tater tots and they were stone cold. They are expensive and to pay that much the food should be hot or at least warm. I definitely will not go back!

I don’t even know where to start with the experience I had with this bakery!!! I called on a Monday to place my order and had to repeat myself 3 times and also had to spell my daughter’s name out 3 times as well. By the way, not a hard name to spell at all! They assured me the cake would be ready for pick up by 2:00 pm on Friday. I got there at 4:15 to pickup. The cake was in the front sitting on a shelf with several other cakes not in boxes which is very unsanitary, especially with COVID raging every where. No one had on masks or gloves either. The young girl that waited on me looked at the cakes on the shelf then proceeded to go to the back and comes back out to tell me she can’t find it. The cake was literally right behind her! She then takes the cake and proceeds to put it in a cake box which she couldn’t even figure out how to close. Luckily I said wait a second so I could look at it. The cake was poorly decorated and had nothing written on it. I told her it wasn’t finished and she replied with yes it was. I told her it was supposed to say happy birthday with my daughter’s name. She then looked at me with the deer in the headlights look, turns to the other young girl working and they both replied with “uh we don’t do that because we don’t write that good.” What??!!! Frustrated at this point I leaned over the counter and told them for $42 they better find me someone! They called the owner who was out and told me she would be there in about 6 minutes and asked me would I like to wait. I replied with “well I really don’t have a choice now do I?” 6 minutes turned into 15-20. The owner took the cake in the back to finish and brings it back up front. Never once did anyone apologize or offer to discount the price. The owner then says to me you might want to put the cake in the fridge so the frosting doesn’t run. Then she says it might run either way, not really sure but that I just shouldn’t leave it in the car. Seriously?!!! Just wow! If I would have had another alternative I would have left it sitting on the counter and walked out! I’ve never endured such terrible customer service! Oh, but it gets better! I get it home for the party and cut it to serve and it was so dry that a cloud of flour should have shot out of it! It was awful! It was the worst cake I have ever tasted! You could tell that it had been frozen! It tasted old and was just absolutely horrible. Less than half of the cake was served and everyone who had some took literally one to two bites of it and tossed it in the garbage! I was so upset I took the uneaten cake back to them to show them just how dry it was and asked to speak to the manager and/or owner and of course they weren’t in again that day either. The girl working took my name and number and said they would call me. A day and a half later still no call. Imagine that. So I called back and was finally able to speak to the manager/owner. I explained everything above and told her I didn’t expect to receive a full refund but a partial one would be nice. She tells me her policy is store credit or she could bake me another cake! Why would I want store credit???!!! And I don’t need another cake !! She then stated their cakes are baked fresh and never frozen and that she cut into it and it was very moist. I can’t with the level of ignorance! Needless to say I don’t want store credit or anything else from them for that matter! Just thought I’d spread the word so you would know not to consider them at your future events!!!! Uuuuggghhh!

They catered my 90th mom’s birthday party in New Albany last year. They didn’t bring the food we ordered and the food they brought was terrible and overpriced. They were late delivering the food. The whole experience was awful.

I just picked up a whole smoked chicken. It smelled wonderful driving home. I couldn’t wait and pulled off a leg when I got home. The smoke taste was spot on!!

Best plate lunch Tues - Fri that you can get in Tupelo. The owners are kind and attentive and you can't beat the desserts they have. We love this place! Make sure you go to Coley Rd since they have moved recently. Some of the Google searches send you to the old location on McCullough.

Great owners, great food, great business. Check them out!

Bad customer service: ok so their cakes, cookies, etc... are great and taste wonderful. I really liked using them and have used them a lot in the past up until now. The first week of June I had ordered a white circle cake with pastel green/ blue flowers at the bottom for a 1 year old smash cake (peter rabbit themed). It was very simple because I had the topper for the cake just needed this on the bottom. I emailed them a picture of the cake as they asked. When I came to pick
