Worst Logan's I've ever visited. Ordered my steak medium. Not hard to do! Was very rare, so sent back, then got it back VERY well done. Didn't even offer to give me a break on my bill, and they were aware I was not happy with my meal.
Today’s, 3-1-2020, experience at Logan’s in Tupelo, MS is one that won’t soon be forgotten and one that won’t have me returning to Logan’s any time soon. When we walked in, we were asked about sitting in the bar area. I do not like sitting in the bar area so I said no I don’t want to, but will if we have to. I was told you don’t have to. The person that was going to seat us said the server in the area where I wanted to sit was new and he didn’t want to overload her. Then he mentioned that everyone had not come in to work; then the booth he was going to put us in had crumbs on the seat and so did the next one, so he decided to go get a rag. I asked him if there was people in the kitchen or maybe I should go somewhere else. (I wish I had gone somewhere else). I felt like I had been given the sign to go somewhere else but I ignored it. I knew when he said our server was new and a server did not come in we were in for a long messed up lunch. And indeed it was. We were at the restaurant for close to two hours. My husband ordered a salad with peppercorn ranch dressing. When the salad and dressing was finally brought out to him it was not peppercorn dressing. The server says they r out of peppercorn dressing and goes to get just plain ranch dressing, but what she brought back was not plain ranch dressing. I ordered the grilled chicken salad with peppercorn ranch dressing and I was told they were out of peppercorn ranch dressing. When I saw the very small piece of chicken that was in the bowl with the salad that cost $10.00 (either 9.99 or 10.99), I said I am not paying that much for this salad. I asked for the manager and I returned my salad. My sister had asked for mayonnaise but never got it. When we ordered lemon with our water the server said she would have to cut up some lemons, none had been cut up. There is just so many things that was wrong with our visit it is hard to tell it all in writing. We had chosen Logan’s for lunch bc we had a 20% off entire meal coupon and the coupon did not specify that you had to have 2 entrees to use coupon. So the manager took my salad off of our bill and per the server he said that disqualified our bill for the 20% off, but that was not correct. I have no idea how the server came up with my sister’s bill. Her bill was more than it should have been to start with and per the server the 20% discount had been applied. By this time my brother-in-law had had enough, had been there way too long and too many issues during the long time we were there. So he said he just wanted to get this straight and let them pay and get out of there quickly. Anyway at the end it was just me and my sister waiting for her to pay her bill and the server let us know she did not appreciate what was said to her. I do not think that was appropriate for her to say that to us. We were the customer. I wonder if you can honestly justify what we encountered.
Besides the waitress that was carrying 6 bread baskets in one hand and somthing eles in the other hand..breathing, laughing, and talking over them even used her chin to keep the bread from falling ...then takes them straight to the tables in the area she was working..
Service struggled starting off, but ended on a really good note! The food was really good & tasty, my wife's steak was over cooked but still good and they compensated us with taking some off of the final bill. Over all,,,great experience
Logan’s is one of my favorite chain steakhouses! Our waitress was super friendly. We came on what we expected to be a busy night, the parking lot wasn’t full at all, and we got sat 10/15 minutes after arrival. We had a movie to catch at 7:45, and we were sat around 6:20. Ordered quickly, drinks, salad, rolls got back to us quickly. Only complaint is over an hour of waiting, our food still wasn’t done, and we were told it would still be bit. They did offer to speed things up, but we didn’t really have time anymore at that point to get across town. Waitress was super nice, we offered to pay for drinks and salad, but she told us it was fine and we could go. Other than waiting on food for over an hour and having to leave, everything else was good.
If you like fresh, HOT, Yeast Rolls
The service was excellent and our waitress Bella was a real sweetheart. The food was awesome. Steak was so tender, you could literally cut it with a fork.
Took almost 15 mins to get waited on to be seated and we were the only ones waiting. They were not that busy. They were out of the LOGAN so they gave us 2 of the 6oz ones but they were over cooked. Very disappointed at my birthday supper.
We were skeptical to try this Logan's because it usually isn't very busy. Once we entered and ordered we found out why. The restaurant was not busy, yet it took about 5 minutes to be seated. Once seated we were greeted by a friendly waiter who took our order. It took about 50 minutes to get our food and the place was not busy at all. When the food arrived it was good but the wait is too long. I'm not sure if this is normal for this location or not but I'm not sure we're willing to go ba k and find out.
Great waitresses, good steak cooked just right. Rolls werent as good as usual. Lots of fluff, no substance...basically a shell..what's up with that..rolls ate what I come for? Maybe it was the weather...

The food was Delicious and the Hostess was Really Sweet. But I think they had a Shortage of hands on this particular day. The Wait Time to be seated and the wait time for the food were a Bit Much. The Atmosphere was very Nice. And the Football game kept my 7 year old Grandson Happy. Thank you!!!?
The food is usually pretty good. I've had 2 or 3 occasions where my wait for food seemed a bit long. Other than that it's a pretty good place to eat!
When you come in and place an order to go and they tell you 25 to 30 minutes you look at your watch and it’s 3:05 and at 3:42 your still waiting. Not good bad service. You ask the lady that’s expediting the orders and she looks at her phone and tells you it was turned in 16 minutes ago right not good
The rolls ran out and then they brought out some replacements which were well below sub par, the sirloin was small and should have been left to be cut by a professional butcher because it was lopsided and carelessly done, and the shrimp were over cooked and dry. Last, the loaded sweet potato did not have the brown sugar included. All of this was most likely due to the store being understaffed. 1st time back in about 3 years and this will most likely be the last time visiting this store.
Love this place employees are great food is great only problem is the rolls looks like they are cooked in a microwave they are white with no browned on top they are half the size they usually are and are doughy and chewy don't know what the problem is looks like you need a new oven
