I'm from Illinois, so I've been going to Steak n Shake for almost 30 years. The food was good, service was great. I miss the shakes coming in glass shake glasses with the extra shake in the metal shake mixing cup, but otherwise, it was as I remember it.

Dining room closes at 7pm? Really? Guys its not Covid anymore. Ok cool I'll just walk thru the drive thru...nope they won't let you. Omg. There are 3 hotels within walking distance of you. 2 of those are in same parking lot. Another guy was there trying to do same thing....all the while there is a huge sign by street that says hours 10am - 9 pm. Lol. Really? No telling how much money you lose out on... guess it doesn't outweigh the labor cost though. So just change the hours that are posted? Seems like a simple solution?

Got a burger at drive through last week it was great we ate inside today the burgers were cold and dry the server wss great but the burger gross
Floors were very slippery. Food was good, never checked on nor got a refill. Had to get up and ask for condiments because no one checked back on us.
