This place is now The Gin. It's under new ownership and is doing great. It's newly remodeled, has some old staff and new but all with friendly and fast service. This is a great place to go for just a drink or a drink and meal. The menu reflects the stea with local favorites as well as comfort food. Don't pass up the opportunity to go for a night out. The bartender Alison is very good at what she does and will make your drinks for you fast and friendly.
Older western-themed decor in a bar and grill type atmosphere. There is a lounge area as well as a dining area. Service was spotty and confused even though there seemed to be plenty of staff. Staff was friendly and helpful when approached, but they definitely had to be approached to attend to our needs. Food took a bit long to come out (35 minutes) and was luke-warm. The food definitely seems like it would be great when hot, but that wasn't our experience. The onion rings...
Food and atmosphere is always great but getting take out can be hit or miss. The last several times ive gotten it to go, something of our meal was left out and we had to drive back for it.
