This place has the BEST Italian food in Tupelo. Maybe even north Ms. All ingredients are fresh vegges herbs and all. The cheese is authentic. The original owner is nice and generous man real down to earth. My family and I have been going to Vanellis for at least 5yrs and I honestly choose them over any other restaurant in Tupelo. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting. Very clean. Service has always been consistent when I go. I recommend them. They should be in newspaper and win đ reward if not already. They are pricey but I can understand due to the location and fresh food.

The staff is FANTASTIC! Very accommodating to my special needs son and disabled father. Excellent customer service! And the food! Salads are always so fresh, our pastas, pizza and desserts were absolutely out of this world! Love location in downtown Tupelo. Awesome place!

Been eating at vanellis since their location on Gloster. The Athenian pizza is truly one of the best pizzas Iâve ever had. (Not that their other food isnât amazing this is just a personal favorite). Youâre going to have leftovers, and itâs going to taste just as great.

We arrived at 1:55 - lunch buffet closed at 2:00. We were not expecting to eat the buffet since it was so close to closing but the young lady serving asked if weâd like it. We chose it and while they were plating it, an older lady (maybe manager-had a baseball cap on) declared LOUDLY that the buffet would NOT be all you can eat as it was closing. She also loudly stated that we would only get ONE plate. That was completely fine but she was so RUDE- another family came in behind us and she told them LOUDLY again that the buffet was now closed. She was just rude. The young lady was very sweet but not her. Just ruined the experience honestly. Probably wonât be back, especially for the buffet.
