when i first walked in, there wasn't anyone in there, so my fiancé and i were skeptical. but lemme TELL Y'ALL SOMETHING!!!! THIS PLACE RIGHT RIGHT DESERVES TO BE PACKED EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT!!! this is the ONLY place we will be going when we want mexican food. and the prices are phenomenal as well! AND THE STAFF????? OUTSTANDING!! i hope this place and the ppl who own it and work at it get all they want in life!!

I love Zapata, the atmosphere is soothing and the owner is awesome, I try to eat there at least once a week.
Excellent food; great local restaurant. I try to eat at locally- owned restaurants when I travel, and this restaurant did not disappoint. I was early for dinner but felt that they would get busy as time progressed. I had a strawberry blended margarita and combo meal of burrito and soft taco. Very filling. Chips and salsa excellent as well.

The cheese dip was not as full of flavor as expected. The guacamole & pico was good. It was VERY cold inside. I went to eat Mexican tacos, but was more like American tacos-ground beef, lettuce, & cheese. Friend said his beer tasted water down. He said his food didn't taste right. The owner seems like a very sweet lady, though.
