Los Parrilleros | Mexican Reviews
Local place down the street that we go to from time to time.... My rule is if the chips look dark brown they are usually fried in old grease. I stay away from anything fried at a Mexican restaurant. They all do it. They just don't change the grease often.. The chicken fajitas was okay. On the cold side.. Not flaming hot like usual..
I hope the owner reads this and takes care of the problem..

Ordered a taco salad. It came out full of liquid. The beef had the consistency of tuna. It was not very good. Others in my partys food came out just fine. My suggestion don't order the taco salad. It was not good tasting.
Great vegetarian selection!!!

Los Parrilleros | Mexican is a cozy, local restaurant that many customers enjoy for its warm atmosphere and friendly service. Visitors often describe it as feeling like eating at someone's house, where every dish is made with love and care. The restaurant offers a variety of Mexican favorites, with the chimichanga and chicken fajitas receiving particular praise for their quality. The house salsa and chips are a highlight for many, described as tasty and satisfying, though some note the salsa is quite thin. Prices are considered reasonable, and portion sizes are generally seen as good value. The staff is friendly, eager to please, and attentive without being intrusive, creating a relaxed dining experience. Customers appreciate the cleanliness of the place and the good quality of the food, especially considering the price. However, some reviews mention minor issues, such as the chips sometimes being fried in old grease or the queso sauce being unexpectedly added to dishes, which might surprise diners. One disappointing experience involved a taco salad that was watery and had beef with a tuna-like consistency, though others in the party enjoyed their meals. Overall, Los Parrilleros is appreciated for its home-style feel, decent food, and welcoming environment, making it a good choice for a casual meal.
