All in all, this is a good place to eat. They have a very simple menu. Portion sizes are good they give you plenty to drink. The atmosphere is laid-back. It’s a big open room. It’s decorated nice. The prices are fair. Nothing too fancy for sure. Just a laid-back place to get some fish.
This place is famous with the locals and there's good reason for it. Great catfish, great food, and grateful service... as long as you understand why and what you came for. This is simple country dining done right. Just don't make the mistake and order the fish filets... it's the whole fried catfish that's gonna hit the spot. It's a little tricky to avoid the bones... but it's soooo delicious! (The fish filets are good too!)
My chicken tender breading was soggy from the grease and was falling off . It was also so hot in the back room I could hardly enjoy myself because of it. Sad the food isn’t good as it use to be when I was a kid. The fish was also very greasy and soggy
