The food was decent, not as good as it was before, but still pretty good. I'm angry with whoever owns it because I gave my waitress a specific amount of money because she did a phenomenal job, I ran into her a few days later and found out that they make The waiters and waitresses give all of their tips up and split it equally between everyone. This is absolutely insane and ridiculous. I do not care about the other people that did not give me excellent service inside of the restaurant. She gave me excellent service so she deserves what I gave her as a tip. Not for it to be taken away from her and giving her a miniscule amount after the fact. That is pure communism. Especially when they make you into your pockets to make sure you're not trying to hide a tip that you actually earned. Shame on whoever owns this place for making hardworking people give up their hard-earned money.

The buffet has gone down hill in recent years. First, the good.... Both the fried and boiled shrimp and peach cobbler is good. The catfish on 1/5/24 was not catfish all. Some type of cheap frozen fish. Maybe swai. There is now only two items on the entire seafood buffet that's seafood. The shrimp and stuffed crab. The rest is just filler to get you in and out. The price is a ridiculous 29.00 total per person !

It's something to eat but I wouldn't make a special trip for it. Staff is friendly, building is good enough with plenty of parking. Menu may be better but the buffet is just that , dime a dozen, everything tastes the same. $23.95 plus $2.25 for tea is just too much for what it is.

Delicious! My family and I decided to try Carmack's this past weekend by placing a to-go order and it was great. While it's hard to find a menu online - we heard the catfish and hamburger steak were a must. They were both delicious and came with two sides. We tried the perfectly cooked fries, perfectly crispy fried okra and yummy coleslaw. If ever in the area again, we'll definitely eat there again! Oh - and it was packed with locals. Always a good sign.
