Delicious! My family and I decided to try Carmack's this past weekend by placing a to-go order and it was great. While it's hard to find a menu online - we heard the catfish and hamburger steak were a must. They were both delicious and came with two sides. We tried the perfectly cooked fries, perfectly crispy fried okra and yummy coleslaw. If ever in the area again, we'll definitely eat there again! Oh - and it was packed with locals. Always a good sign.
The food was very good and seasoned well. You can eat from the buffet or order a dish from the menu, either way you'll be good. Buffet costs about $21 bucks. And they have good ice cream.

It's something to eat but I wouldn't make a special trip for it. Staff is friendly, building is good enough with plenty of parking. Menu may be better but the buffet is just that , dime a dozen, everything tastes the same. $23.95 plus $2.25 for tea is just too much for what it is.
