Beechwood Restaurant & Lounge

I ordered Beechwood yesterday 7/2/2025 for delivery because I just had surgery and did not want to leave the house. I am sooooooo very very disappointed especially after paying $135.73 and the results were just terrible… I ordered the Beechwood Classic and a Crawfish Julie Sauce to go on top of my steak… as you see by the pictures I took and paid literally $7.00 for this and that is what I got!! It’s the one in the tiny little cup. Also, asked for a side salad and also you can see in the photos what I got. Also ordered fried green tomatoes with extra sauce and did not receive the sauce, ordered cheese sticks with marinara no marinara ordered a side of pasta… which in my mind was going to be flavored, but you see by my pictures it’s literally just cooked pasta!!!!! I have eaten at Beechwood many times and this this right here really pissed me off!! I just spent over $100 at your restaurant and this is what I get?! Even if I’m not actually at the restaurant I deserve better than this!!! I Never leave bad reviews, but this is just horrible!! I am still a customer even though I am not at your restaurant and you should be ashamed of how this order went and how you treat delivery different than in the restaurant!!

my wife and I went for a dinner date. It was my first visit. the fried mushrooms were excellent, but the steak... we both got filets and they were amazing. One of, if not, the BEST steaks I've ever had. They were thick, juicy, flavorful, tender and cooked PERFECTLY (medium rare). We will definitely be back. highly recommend.

There were THREE large groups/parties at Beechwood Restaurant yesterday evening and the servers didn't neglect a single group! They were ready for our group of 20 - The Mississippi Corvette Club - and at least one other large group when we pulled into the parking lot! The food was perfect, as it always is, I can't speak for anyone else in our group, but my filet was absolutely perfect! And their creamed spinach is always spot on! Add any appetizer you select with their fresh made croutons and hot rolls ... how could your dinner NOT be perfect?

Parking: More parking in the rear than meets the eye.

Cute place. Lounge area or coffee shop area or restaurant area to sit which is nice. My shrimp and oysters were very good and really likes their tarter sauce. The steak was not seasoned at all and very tough. The lettuce in the salads was brown and soggy but the ranch was good and tried to find a little bit of good lettuce. Our waitress was a sweet heart. Recommend? Yes but not the steak which we were told this was the place for steak. Hmmm?

Customer service was good. The guy working the flame-grill was awesome. He was patient, and he took time to explain how the food was cooked. (The pork chops were tender, juicy, and seasoned well)

I had the best Parmesan redfish last night! One of my favorite restaurant meals I’ve had. Food took a little while but they were busy so that’s understandable.

We got in and were seated but then we sat there for 18 minutes before anybody acknowledged we were there. And for me that's a bit of a sore spot because at least tell me hey I'm busy but I'll be right there so that I know that I'm noticed. But after that the waitress was very nice and the service was good. The food was very good it was very good flavor to it nice and hot and the portion size is really good. I was a little bit hungry so I got an extra side it was only $2 you have got to love that. So we got our fill and overall we had a really good night. Hopefully they'll let their staff know that if somebody's just sitting there with you know a blank look on their face at least say hi and let him know that you'll be right with them

Very good flavorful food. Very rich in taste so be careful what you order as to not get too many rich sides or you may be over dosed on on cheese .

Food average. I know it is a well known and loved place. Mushroom appetizer was super chewy and not palatable.

I had a baked potato and salad. It was good but not any better than anywhere else so average. Person w me had steak. He said it was good.

Interior is stale and dated. It doesn't have a hole in the wall vibe so no points there. Just your average 1970's decor and menu.

Dinner was so delicious. The atmosphere is so welcoming. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be back! The Cowboy steak is awesome!!!
