Salad was pretty good.
Oysters were terrible
Special of the day, fried Shrimp were ok and a good value.
Onion rings were awful.
I held out counting on the bread pudding to be good. Nope.
And I don’t hardly ever give bad reviews. We were so excited to try this restaurant. I do not recommend it. Two couples walked out without ordering. I think it was because they were out of so many things. IDK. I wish we had walked out.

First time we came through we ate here, there were a lot of things missing from the menu. We thought it was our bad luck, but coming through a month later, we waited a long time after ordering only to find that they were out of ribs and every other thing we wanted. The waitress was very kind and gave us her discount on the food we ordered, but it wasn't what we wanted to eat.

I got a bowl of shrimp and grits, and my wife got the catfish special (blackened) with sweet potato fries. The shrimp and Grits were fantastic. The blackened catfish was amazing and the sweet potato fries were some of the best we've ever had.

First thing, the Cajun pasta was good and flavorful! But, I don’t know if the milk or cheese or whatever was used was spoiled or what! Literally after eating my last bite, my stomach started hurting sooo bad?. Immediately had to get to the nearest bathroom, thankfully I didn’t have to go back to work! I’m a pasta girl so I’m gonna try it again!? I can’t deny that it was good. But something wasn’t right!

A couple months back I would have gave this place five stars because the food was outstanding. The crawfish sauce was especially good, now it seems like there's a new chef. Seems like they're using brown gravy mix instead of making an actual rue like before. It doesn't affect the other food though it is very tasty. We still go there occasionally but not as much. Wish they would bring the old chef back LOL
Caught lunch here the other day.The cashier talked me into a cheeseburger. Got that, fried okra, and some red beans and rice. The burger was very good. Nothing to complain about, and it filled me up! The okra has been some of the best I've had in a while. And the red beans? Well, they taste like mine. They are pretty good, and I would get them again.I wished I'd gone the BBQ or po'boy route. I think that is the reason why I came here. But... like I said, the cashier talked me into the cheeseburger. It just means I got to come back.Good food at a decent price. Try it out.

This place would be fine if they would offer Catfish, hushpuppies and two sides instead of banana pudding and ice tea. I cannot eat the pudding and prefer water. The place needs some flexibility. It might be great if more flexible.

My first visit was on Friday night. Parking with a full-size vehicle is very difficult and limited on site. I would like to know if there are areas around the restaurant for additional parking. The atmosphere is set to resemble an old Vicksburg Cafe with about a dozen tables inside and an outdoor patio also available. Service is cashier only. So, initial orders and additional adult beverages are ordered with the cashier and delivered to you. Food was delivered quickly and was as ordered. The shrimp and grits were the best item ordered. The grits were not plain with grilled shrimp on top. They were well seasoned and had crawfish in them. Additionally, the onion rings are handmade and a wonderfully side item for the catfish platter. I will be ordering a bowl of them very soon. My wife and I will be back often. Just in a smaller vehicle.
Parking: Parking was limited to about dozen smaller cars. Full size trucks will find parking a challenge in most of the spaces. Off-site parking may be available but not confirmed.
The owner is always there. The portions are generous. It’s clean and has a great down home feel. The music they play is fire. The food is all delicious.
