I came for lunch and immediately was greeted and waited on. The vibe in this cafe is great! It’s very welcoming and the food is fresh cooked, hot and made to order. My mom got the chicken and dumplings, and my Dad got the vegetable plate. We all cleaned our plates!! I got the BLT on wheat bread toasted and it was so tasty. They are generous with the bacon. The lettuce and tomato was fresh. I absolutely recommend having breakfast or lunch here. This was my first time but definitely not my last. I’d absolutely drive here again to eat. It has that safe haven feeling that home has. It’s really nice.

The value of their lunch plate is fantastic! You get a meat and three sides with a drink and dessert for like 13$. You can’t beat it! Iv had most everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Great atmosphere as well.

The place is small, very loud, and many things are in need of being cleaned. The eggs were overcooked and the bacon was severely undercooked. The coffee was weak and tasted like it was 3 days old.

The staff was very accommodating with our crew of nine. The homemade food was amazing! My grandson said two ham and cheese sandwiches cuz they were so good. Love the homemade cheesecake!

I got a big carry out plate but everything was very greasy, from squash to meat loaf , sweet corn , macaroni and beans,the corn bread wasn’t all that good, tea and cake was ok, maybe I went in there on a wrong day where some one was cooking very heavy in the grease.I spent 12.00 didn’t enjoy my meal on the 10/5/2021.I had to throw my plate away cause I have to watch my health.I am not big I am 5’8 weight 171 I am 44 just trying stay healthy.I did take a bite of everything it’s good but just loaded with Greasy.I hope they read this comment so they can lay off the grease so heavy .I try again one day to see have it change,If not I will definitely take a picture to show next time and Just don’t go no more.

This is the most disgusting place ever! I chose the cleanest table in the place, but I had a "wet wipe" in my purse...so glad. It was black after wiping the table. Crud in the window sills that was probably there before Covid. The only waitress in the place was playing on her phone, while surrounded by dirty tables.

It was a little heavier meal than I usually eat for breakfast but pretty good. Reasonably priced and family run. I like it. Biscuit and gravy was excellent (no meat) grits were real not Wallpaper paste. Nothing fancy order at the counter and they bring it to the table. Locals frequent this place. That's always a plus. I noticed the lunch menu was on the pricy end but perhaps it is worth it. Open fro 5:30 AM - 5:00 PM I will post some pics.
