Sat at the bar and ordered food. I got the tuna. It was definitely not a $23 portion. Bartender was inattentive and never asked how my food was. I asked for med rare and came out medium. The rest of the food was good overall.

Last night was my first time dining here and I have to admit that I had a far better experience than I expected. My steak was cooked to perfection. I will most definitely be dining here again.

Drinks are great! Food is alright, but I've only tried the quesadilla and spinach artichoke dip. Service is awesome- the waiters always check to see if you need refills. The atmosphere is cozy and clean, right on Vicksburg's main streets. Support this business!

So, my 9yr old and I were walking around in downtown Vicksburg, MS and he, of course, was hungry as usual. With the name of the restaurant being Cocktails 101, I was hesitant to take my 9 yr old in there, but they were having a special on wings.. "Wednesday wings;" we decided to give it a try. There was only one customer at the bar when we entered and I didn't know if it was because of the quality of the food and service or because it was a Wednesday evening... So, right off, I noticed the items on the menu were a bit pricey for my tastes! But, we were here and we had sat down so we were at the point of no return!! The food is pretty good. My son said, " Mom you ought to go into the restaurant business because this tastes exactly like your food!" I don't know about you, but if I'm going to pay an arm and a leg for a meal, I want it to taste better than the meals I normally cook! So, I thought some items on the menu were a bit overpriced, but the food was good. The service was great because we were the only people eating in the restaurant. I'm not sure how you can mess that up. Of course we got all the attention of our server, and that was nice. The atmosphere was really laid-back and a few locals drifted in and sat at the bar. It was very quaint and clean. It ended up being a really nice time and my son decided that we would come back to Cocktails 101 at least once a month so we could enjoy a nice meal together in a fun, upscale environment.Kid-friendliness: Despite the name of the place, it was quite kid friendly. There's plenty on the menu for my son to enjoy.Parking: We parked a block away and enjoyed the walk!

Can't complain. Food & service were decent, nice atmosphere and a variety of cocktail choices. Will definitely come back to try other cocktail options off the menu.

Just an OK place! We were looking for something different in Vicksburg. We will probably not return to this location! Waitress was OK, but VERY INEXPERIENCED! She needs to understand the current menu that they offer and didn't seem to know what was offered. On the other hand, the Food: My Wife and I both had the Blackened Seafood Fetuccini. And it was absolutely outstanding. Drink service was OK! They DO CHARGE A COV FEE??? When I asked about it, I was told it was a restaurant FEE! THE COV CHARGE I SUSPECT IS FOR USING A CREDIT CARD. And $10 was incredibly high! So, You can either leave a TIP or simply let the restaurant have the $10 FEE! OVERALL NOT THE BEST PLACE IN VICKSBURG, MS to have dinner!

Looked interesting from the outside. Had a nice contemporary decor with comfortable furnishings. Staff was friendly. I had Jack on the rocks and they used whiskey ice which was a nice touch. I also had the fried green tomatoes which were ok. They were not cut and breaded on site and the attempt to dress them with crawfish tails and a cream sauce, while noble, killed the taste of the tomato. Service was ok but not worthy of the price. Overall, the experience was nice but not notable. Double Jack, fried green tomatoes and tip was $42.

Had the tuna bites, shrimp and crab dip, and the boom boom shrimp. Neat little place in downtown Vicksburg. Go check it out. Friendly people.

Ordered ribeye and tuna bites.Ribeye tasted like it was thawed in a microwave and overcooked. 4 of the tiniest asparagus I have seen. Instant mash potatoes since they quit serving baked potatoes. The fruit on the tuna plate was canned fruit you give your kids. The pro: The Stella Artois was cold.

Great ambience. What a cool place. We thought we'd stop by just for drinks but ended up eating as well. The food was great. Highly recommend the Philly quesadilla.
