Goldie's Express BBQ & Catering

Following a funeral, my family enjoyed a celebration of life at Goldie's BBQ at the request of the estate. Being from another state and also not a fan of BBQ, I was a bit concerned about what I could eat. I decided on a sausage plate with French fries and potato salad! MAN! Was I surprised!!! The sausage was smothered in BBQ SAUCE! it was REALLY good!!! The potato salad was mouthwatering! I could've licked the bowl had there been one! The fries were pretty normal, but disappeared, all the same! The service was great but extremely slow. However, our party had reserved the private room and had approximately 40 people in attendance. It is my assumption that the restaurant would've brought in extra help to attend to the private party, but it definitely didn't seem like it had. The restaurant side didn't seem too busy, but I'm sure our large party slowed the kitchen down! Either way, they knocked it out of the park! The portions were quite sizable and several people went home with doggie bags! I don't think anyone was too disappointed!

Owner and staff are customer friendly and menu is priced reasonable for everyone's budget.

If I could give them a zero star I would! The older white woman with black teeth that be in drive thru is extremely rude! We order drinks and she tried giving them to us with ice filled to the brim. I’m not paying $5 for 1 drink and it’s gone in 3 sips. She knew that was too much ice and when I told her she had the nerves to have an attitude. She needs to be fired immediately! Terrible customer service!

I just got lunch here, and everything is dry. The ribs seem old. I don't have time to take it back or else I would.

Great portions and excellent service. I walked through the drive through because I drive an 18 wheeler.

The crawfish was old and you can tell they was re drop. I called them talked to a lady on the phone she said there nothing they can do about. My name is Chef Collin and that very sad o put them in the garage. All I wanted to take them back get something else.

I visited this restaurant while currently in town for a conference, as it was included on the recommended list that the conference provided. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. After spending $72 on food, the staff member at the window who took our order, payment and our food was extremely rude. When we politely inquired about the poor attitude, we were told it was because they were busy. That is not a good excuse for poor customer service.

Given that our conference has over 900 attendees from all over Mississippi and Louisiana, I’ve advised those in my network to avoid this establishment during our four-day stay and to seek BBQ elsewhere due to the unacceptable level of customer service.

They now charge 4% on card purchases that just don’t make sense and absolutely not right $18 for 2 $8 burgers I wouldn't go back and im am not coming back until this is changed basically stealing your money

While the to-go service was fast, the food was just okay. The smoked sausage tasted like kielbasa, not a traditional slow smoked sausage. It was fine, just not what I expected. The beef brisket was the low point. We ordered it by the pound, expecting it to be sliced like Texas BBQ brisket. Wrong! It was shredded like BBQ pork with mediocre BBQ sauce added to it as if meant to be served on a bun. It was barely edible as-is. Who sells shredded BBQ beef brisket by the pound? Apparently, this place does. We froze the leftovers, and then mixed in a decent Texas BBQ sauce when we got home to make tasty shredded beef brisket sandwiches for another dinner. Give this place a hard pass if you are expecting Texas style BBQ beef brisket and smoked sausage sold by the pound. I guess they serve Mississippi style BBQ, which makes sense given its location. That would be fine if it was deliciously unique, but it's not. It's just okay.

called and ask for a specific cookie was told they have it ordered online then apparently they don’t have it then the manager insisted it was the call center who told me they have the cookies not their employee ..so i called again and talked to the same person who answered the first time and i asked if it was the call center and she said she’s at the restaurant where i placed the order ..my point was why lie just admit they didn’t know if the cookie wasn’t available that wouid have been acceptable than blame the call center

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Goldie’s Express on Pemberton Blvd. I ordered the bbq pull pork sandwich platter with fries and red beans and rice (like I always do) but when my food arrived, it was completely wrong. I politely pointed out the mistake to the cashier, but instead of fixing the order, she insisted I ordered bbq beans instead of fries. Then I was told I had to pay extra to get the correct meal. This was their error, yet they were unwilling to fix the issue and told me I can call in the morning to complain to Gary (the manager) if I wished. The staff stated that there was nothing they could do to correct my order and that it was my fault for not catching it prior to payment. I ended up leaving without getting what I originally ordered. I would not recommend this place to anyone who expects decent service or a basic level of customer care. I have been eating here for years and never had any issues with the workers or having an incorrect order that was not fixed. Very disappointing. Highly do not recommend.
