Absolutely disgraceful for Ameristar to call this a buffet! Salad bar was anything but a bar. We asked for bacon bits, real or fake, to be told they don’t even have them for their bar. We were told it was going to be a seafood buffet. That consisted of boiled shrimp, fried fish & frog legs. That’s it. Ridiculous! Will NEVER visit them again!

ALL 3 of us got belly issues today because of food last night. We didn't sleep and stayed in bathrooms. It was LOW quality food with very few choices. I haven't been in years so oh have the mighty have fallen. It was terrible. The whole casino was dirty. Stairs, floors everything dirty.

I very rarely give reviews and generally only if I have something good to say. But, this is the most pathetic buffet I have ever been to. The selection food was awful and what they did have wasn’t even sub par. For $29.95 a person they should be ashamed at what they had available. I hate to have to give a negative review but I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

As other reviews have mentioned there was barely any selection. Staff was attentive and kind. We also forgot to use our 20% dinner voucher and cashier refused to refund and apply our discount. 2 stars now that you guys have reminded me

Was told this is not an all you can eat buffet so that probably shouldn’t be advertised. Due to rude customer service and being hung up on I wouldn’t be able to comment on the quality of the food because I am not eating somewhere that’s rude to you before you ever enter the establishment.

Food was sparse but tasty. Big problem with waitress. She was on her phone and ignored the patrons. I had to tract her down to get drinks. She saw customers waiting for a waitress but literally ignored us.
