Was told this is not an all you can eat buffet so that probably shouldn’t be advertised. Due to rude customer service and being hung up on I wouldn’t be able to comment on the quality of the food because I am not eating somewhere that’s rude to you before you ever enter the establishment.

The buffet is at Ameristar Casino, Vicksburg,MS,and is only open on Friday nights, Saturday nights for seafood buffet and Sundays for Southern classic style lunch. We went Sunday as it was cheaper at a little over $20 which included tax and drink. They do not serve nearly the amount of food like they used to prior to Covid. There were only maybe 10-12 tables of guests. The food was good but not worth the price nor drive unless you're local.

Wow y’all the buffet has undeniably gotten TERRIBLE. Not to mention the customer service. Sunday lunch consisted of baked and fried chicken a few veggies and the smallest salad bar I have ever seen! Cheesecake and sweet potato pie was your choice for desserts oh ya and cookies. The food did not taste bad but as you could imagine it was very bland. At $18.95 per person highway robbery! Wish someone had told me, this used to be my go to in Vicksburg.

My husband and I went to the Heritage Restaurant on October 8, 2022. It cost us $70 for the Buffet and a drink. The food was horrible! It looked like it had been sitting out all day and had dried out. The waitress stayed in the bathroom talking with her friends. The reason I know that is because I went to the restroom. I needed a spoon for my gumbo, and I asked the cook who was wiping off the counters of the Buffet table, and she said ask your waiter. She couldn’t even give me a spoon. I had to eat my gumbo with a fork. Our waiter only brought us one glass of tea instead of two, and then had an attitude about it when we ask her for the other glass. She brought us one refill of tea. Was very unfriendly, and did not see to our needs. They had dried out pork chops, over fried chicken, boiled shrimp, that didn’t taste like shrimp, and a very slim selection of vegetables to choose from. The desserts look dried out and not flavorful. It was a miserable experience and one that I do not intend to repeat.

This was just a below average Southern buffet that should’ve been at most half the price.Many of the utensils to get food off the buffet were gross (covered in gravy or grease). Not exactly appetizing.The dessert looked good, but it ultimately was subpar. It tasted like it sat out for a few days and was literally so hard you couldn’t cut it with your fork. Pecan pie was okay, though.Such a shame, as it has so much potential. It used to be reasonably priced with good food. Not anymore. I guess that’s why there weren’t a lot of people at it the whole time I was there, which was prime lunch time on a Saturday.

Went to the buffet at 9 pm on Saturday night. Not busy at all. Paid $30 a piece for weekend seafood buffet. No crab legs. No oysters. All they had was the pre fab fried shrimp, cold boiled shrimp, nasty "shrimp and grits" and a pile of tough fried catfish and hush puppies. Not good at all for seafood. They had a few other things. Baked chicken and such. But paid for a quality seafood buffet. This place is horrible. Used to be good. Also, had to go find silverware and never got a drink refill. Don't plan to eat here.

Me and my wife went last Saturday and was displeased! The food was bland fish super salty i could only have one piece the dessert was awful . We payed $72 with tip included. Waitress didn’t introduce herself she was to busy walking around talking staff all leaned over the counters on there phones . Very dissatisfied!

Very over priced. Greens were super spicy, fish was super salty ranch dressing was watered down. Omg so may things were wrong. The worst experience ever at a buffet. Overall food was a 0.

This was a terrible thought out buffet. There was hardly anything to choose from and it was cold. $30.00 a person was extremely over priced. I am so disappointed with this restaurant. I will never go there again .
