I was recently kicked out of Relish bistro for no reason. I was sitting at a table with my family, eating dinner. The food was disgusting and the service was terrible. We had to wait over an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived it was cold and overcooked. We tried to complain to the waiter, but he ignored us. We then asked to speak to the manager, and the manager came over and told us to leave. I was so angry and upset. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Our family of 7 had dinner at Relish this evening. Everything we ate was amazing. The service was perfect. The atmosphere was comfortable and extremely relaxing. We highly recommend Relish and look forward to returning.

Relish has a good atmosphere and decent food. Our group had the steak frites, shrimp sampi and the flat bread appetizer. Not a lot of flavor on the app and steaks were mostly cooked to order. Decent wine list but no beer on tap.

I’ve been to Relish Bistro in Vicksburg twice and have loved it both times!!! Great steaks, great burgers, awesome crab cakes and amazing homemade ice cream with blueberry cobbler. And the service is on point, as well as the atmosphere; if you love classic rock like I do, then, this is your place. 5 out of 5 stars!!!

The food is always great at this restaurant. I ordered the bone in pork chop and it was great! The service is the best and James who is the bartender always makes a great drink. Nice place to eat and drink

So amazing. Wonderful local sourced ingredients and very imaginative recipes. Don't settle for anything else. This place is awesome. Let James at the bar take care of you - you will be in great hands!!

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant chef. Goat cheese appetizer and dressing out of this world. Service was extraordinary too.Filet tender and juicy. Fries seasoned perfectly. Not crispy but didn't matter:)Only suggestion? Upgrade wine menu? Shake martini more or muddle? Wasn't cold enough to drink it.Atmosphere perfect since we are staying up the street near the booming noise. Glad we found this gem. Cozy and quiet and you can hear each other talk.

This review was written for the RELISH BISTRO. I was just going through my past few months reviews and realized that Google thought I was at The Biscuit Company (just around the corner) when I originally wrote this.RELISH BISTRO - Delicious food and fantastic service. The food was not the typical fare for this area. It was very tasty and not over-priced. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The customer service was wonderful!! The burgers were amazing along with the brussel sprouts and j*** tacos. It was super cute inside. Ambience was great. The scampi pasta was disappointing. Drinks were delicious.

Casual brunch on Sunday morning with admittedly few options in Vicksburg on Sunday with my son here for a battlefield tour weekend. Had eaten previously at Rusty’s and 10 Rooftop for dinner. Advised by the hotel clerk to try Martin’s on Main we arrived to find the owner in the parking lot who said he only did private events since 2022. He advised we try Relish and we did and we were well fed. Their menu was tilted toward southern riffs on standard breakfast stalwarts. Eggs Benedict done with sausage and gravy, tacos and Grande Burrito with scrambled eggs and cheese sauce along with traditional brunch beverages. My son had buttermilk pancakes with pecan syrup and Smokey sweet medium crisp bacon and a mimosa. I had the shrimp and grits and it was among the best I ever ate. This sauce was light but savory and flavorful, the star of the dish and I asked for a spoon to finish. The grits were very good but did not play the usual role of overwhelming with volume. I had five 12 count shrimp perfectly seasoned and grilled, accompanied by a champagne with lemon cocktail which was reminiscent of bubbly lemonade. The drink was a perfect refresher for the pleasantly spicy andouille sausage in the dish. Just prior to our charming server arriving to ask if we would like a desert, I told my son a little ice cream would be a perfect end. That turned out to be one of my choices, although I almost went for the panna cotta. Since I had wished for ice cream I was relieved of having to choose. Homemade vanilla bean ice cream was perfect so my wish was granted. The dinner menu was more bistro Italian and I wish they were open Sunday evenings so I could try the Bolognese. My wife doesn’t do battlefield tours, but I know she would like the food and big city casual sophisticated vibe they have. I will come here first if I am in Vicksburg in the future.

A small place but never have a bad time here. Food is always good but a little pricey for what you get. Usually go for a quick dinner followed by drinks. A really good place for conversation since it is so small.

Fantastic, local, family-owned and operated restaurant. Relish has become a favorite for date night on Washington Street. We have yet to try something we didn’t love. The oysters are fresh and shucked when you order; the catch and cut of the day are expertly paired with their sides and sauces; and the overall atmosphere is comfortable, relaxed, and a blend of historic with modern touches. Definitely don’t pass up on dessert. Our favorite is the blueberry cobbler with the cheesecake as another must try.

On our way home from Monroe, LA and the family wanted breakfast. I knew I didn't want the typical breakfast so after a little searching and some recent reviews I drove to downtown Vicksburg and surprised them with Relish Bistro. The nostalgia and decor made the experience that much more authentic. My wife is a s***** for history and character and walking thru the door it's easy to take in just that. She had the eggs Benedict and I had the breakfast burrito. Both were prepared perfectly as the menu described them. The eggs and potatoes inside the burrito was cooked to perfection! Now, I'm usually not one for cheddar cheese, but the cheese with pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole brought it all together. My son had the burger with fried egg - but the truffle fries made him the most popular person at the table. It's really good to find a place like this snuggled in a corner of downtown away from the big box franchise places. It just made the walk more exciting and worth supporting a local business. We'll definitely make the stop off the beaten path the next time we are down that way!! We certainly hope we get more opportunities to travel thru there!! Prices are what anyone would expect wish gourmet bistro style cuisine. Average cost per person including drinks should be around 10-20.00. It's not too much when a local business goes out of their way to preserve the history of a building, nestled downtown and offering something unique. Hats off to the owners! shayandmichi.com
