Good food at a reasonable price. Had the Fried Green Tomatoes, Gumbo, Crawfish and a Cosmo. All very good. The service was fast and friendly. Tomatoes were delicious, as was the gumbo. Crawfish were plentiful and crunchy. All were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. A busy place with a good reputation.The only drawback is the noise level, which made conversation problematic. There were a couple of large groups (bigger than 4) that were handled without any strain or undue fuss.

Been here twice now and always enjoy their food. It's in the historic district downtown and on the river, so the wait is a minimum of 20-30 mins if you arrive early. I find the prices about average for a touristy place. The shrimp meal was $23. I'd definitely go again, but should probably spread the love to other options as well.
They have an AMAZING Pecan Pie Cheesecake! I wanted a whole one but unfortunately they won't ship it to me. Otherwise it's the best of both my favorite deserts, Pecan Pie and

Maybe one of the best restaurant's in town?Went there on a weeknight and it was packed. i can only imagine that Fridays and Saturdays have a waiting period to get seated.I ordered the 2-way dinner. Got the crab cake and was looking to get the shrimp or scallops, but the server recommended grouper. The grouper is a great meal by itself. I got it grilled, and it was cooked just right. I could see me ordering the grouper again and again if I come back. The crab cakes? I felt were a touch thin, and more filler than crab. A little disappointing, as crab cakes are why I went there.Pass on the fries. Get the salad, the pickled green bean caught me off guard!I am glad I went. I could see myself and the wife going there on a date night if we lived there.They probably could benefit from an expediter on busy nights. We were sat right by the kitchen window and meals sat there for a good deal of time. Nothing crazy, but if it is there, it's ready to go. So if it sat for three or more minutes, that is two minutes longer than it should.
