I stopped in to grab lunch while traveling passed for work as I am on the road a lot, to my surprise Tommy's BBQ was the absolute best food from a restaurant I have had since I can't remember. Wow, the Brisket Sandwich is off the chain, the Texas Twinkies are the bomb...wish I had ordered a dozen. Tommy's BBQ should be a Destination, think I will plan my next vacation to be Tommy's BBQ

Very close to the highway. Best BBQ restaurant off the highway you’re gonna find between Jackson and Monroe.

Loved the entire experience from the rustic tables to the tenderness and flavor of the brisket. Tres Leche cake was stellar, and I will be returning for more! Friendly staff and good menu.

We came to Vicksburg for a pageant. This was the BEST food we got the entire stay. The staff was the friendliest and we were offered samples of brisket before ordering. Several big screen TVs to watch sporting events. And they even gave our kids gummies before we ordered! I 100% recommend you giving them a try, you will not be disappointed

Top shelf barbecue with amazing employees! I highly recommend you drive from anywhere in the country to eat here! Best pulled pork I've ever had in my 44 years of living. 🤌

Nothing special here.
The pulled pork was ok but even it was just placed on a dry bun.
Mac & cheese was the best thing we had at maybe 4 out of 5.
The burger was a hard patty, not hand-patted, more like a frozen patty from Costco.
Buttered corn was straight out of a can, nothing really added or time taken with it.
The bbq sauce was pretty good, slightly different than anything I had tried before, sweet with a little kick.
We weren't greeted nor acknowledged by staff. It's a weird setup and everyone was confused on where and how to place your order. I stood as next in line for about 3 minutes before anyone ever spoke to me, trying to decide if I was standing in the right place. Then we were given a plastic bag with our food as if we had ordered it to go.
It's old, rustic, country, but not on purpose.

We are Brits travelling through Mississippi and stumbled across this gem for dinner. It doesn’t look much from the outside, but has heaps of character and we received a lovely warm welcome. You’re invited to try some meat before ordering, and honestly the turkey was the best we’ve ever tasted. The meat was so delicious and cooked so well; side salads, dressings, sauces all amazing. And the chocolate brownie was brilliant too! Definitely one to visit.
