Dat Kitchen Too Reviews
The staff are all friendly and helpful in their efforts to give you the best service possible. The food is AMAZING always with daily specials, large servings and food that is always delicious. If you want a shrimp po-boy that’s so over stuffed that you could make another meal from the overflow, this is the place to go. The seafood squash casserole is one that I also recommend, but it’s only available on Fridays.

They went way up on their prices and now charge even debit cards a fee (which is the same as cash).... we love their food but we won't be coming back once or twice a week like we have been doing. Maybe a couple of times a year now. Sad, bc we loved going there. Pork chop dinner went from 11.95 to 15.95. We have restaurants close by that we can go to rather than driving to this place. Some business decisions aren't always the best.
They have great home style cooked food! A very friendly environment. We go everytime we go to Bay St. Louis!

Dat Kitchen Too offers generous portions of delectable meals with excellent service, highly praised by customers. The restaurant welcomes families and maintains a pleasant ambiance with friendly staff. Diners can enjoy tasty food at reasonable prices, such as the grilled shrimp po' boy with fries or the fried soft-shell crab on a bun. The nostalgic diner-style atmosphere, combined with great service and delicious dishes, keeps customers coming back.
The restaurant can get quite busy, but customers often receive their orders relatively quickly. While some dishes, like the gumbo, may not always meet expectations, the majority of the meals are well-received, with ample portions and good flavor. The hometown feel of the establishment is a highlight, and the staff is generally attentive and personable.
However, the dining experience can sometimes be inconsistent, with issues like confusion over the ordering process and delays in receiving menus and drinks. Occasionally, customers may receive the wrong dish, though the staff is usually willing to correct any mistakes. While the food may not always taste entirely homemade, it is generally satisfactory, with the roast beef and mashed potatoes being acceptable, if not exceptional.
