Ordered cheese sticks they was dark brown. Little over done. Personally I would not have served them. Ordered a fried chicken sandwich it was good and fried the way it should be the fries was good. My wife’s chicken wrap was good.

OH. MY. GOD. Another hidden gem. In the middle of a small strip mall so not much to pull you in, but you need to NOT judge this establishment by it's facade. This place is sooooo cute. The twin servers, Beth & Kathy with a K are delightful. The gumbo lunch special was great. The meatloaf is very good - but their French Fries are excellent. Ask for extra red sauce on your meatloaf, it's a kick in your pants! Must stop if you're in the area. 5 stars for sure.

Everything was awesome! Kathy was my server and she was so sweet and quick! Her sister, the twin, was very sweet as well. The atmosphere is so comfortable & the food was amazing. I got the fried chicken wrap with ranch on the side, that ranch was DELICIOUS. home made and everything. There was also a spill when I was there and the way the workers reacted was so humbling. No one was upset or anything. I love seeing people being treated nicely.I will definitely be back.

The owner does not have good customer service. I only asked for another small brown paper bag to put a bottled drink in it and he told me no. Im really not one to complain but I just feel that was uncalled for like why not. Everyone else is very kind.

I've been going to J's for years and they still have good quality food and service. Get the large fried shrimp salad and gumbo. You will not be disappointed.

I had not been to J's in years and am so glad I went today! The gumbo was superb and the catfish platter was a delicious, abundant serving of American raised catfish, not the cheap swai from China that is often passed off as catfish. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Now that it's back on my radar, I'll be going to J's on a regular basis. Highly recommended!

I paid $20.00 to make my own sandwich at the table. I got half burnt bread, tough, way overcooked, Non American, tiny shrimp, a little lettuce and two tomato ends. Mayo on the table. Came with cold shoestring french fries and a glass of water. Never once did the waitress come back to check. Needless to say, I won't be back!
