J's Restaurant is a hidden gem in a small strip mall. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior is cozy and inviting. The servers, including Kathy and her twin sister, provide excellent service. The menu features delicious dishes like the fried chicken sandwich, chicken wrap with ranch, and meatloaf, all paired with excellent French Fries. The gumbo lunch special is also a highlight. While some dishes may be overcooked, the overall experience is enjoyable, and the staff's kindness and efficiency make up for any minor flaws.
