Fried oysters - excellent! BBQ SHRIMP EXCELLENT head on - right now...meaning right out of the gulf. And the sauce/gravy is fantastic. 8 or so slices of Liedenhiemer (pretty sure) for sopping. Plenty of shrimp! Country fried steak, which I would never order nor really indulge for many reasons, but someone ordered one night and made me try it.... you can cut with a fork, and it's fried to perfection, not even a little bit greasy, terrific flavor - EXCELLENT. Side salad- EXCELLENT...

They keep things simple & worth the short drive.
Short menu = all well prepared.
$$ pricing is very reasonable & a good value.
Service was well done, food came out fast.
The atmosphere was the people, not a fancy interior.
A great change of pace with food better prepared than several other tourist centric spots in town
