This is a beer joint. Only open days of the week. This is not a family style restaurant.
This place is the Real Deal! Give them a try!
Relaxed atmosphere
I called this wonderfull establishment from the Netherlands just to hear a real Missisipian voice. It worked like a charm! One day i will drink a beer at this place.
Had a group of 13 year old girls and ALL of them got something different and everyone was pleased! The service was great and the food was just as good! I would definitely good back!
My family and I ate here for the first time this past Saturday. Loved the theme of the restaurant and the history of it. Our son loved looking at the train behind the restaurant. I ordered a hamburger and sweet potato fries. It was really good and it was on a sour dough bun. Husband and son-n-law got a steak. They didn’t care for the seasoning on it and said they’ve had better steaks before. We sat in the back of the restaurant. Loved being seated back there and the atmosphere BUT it was so hot back there. They had one fan to try and cool everyone. The thermostat said it was 85 in there and it felt every bit of 85. Do not sit back there in the summer, you will regret it. I did like the kids books and toys back there to help keep little ones entertained. That is a neat idea. The server was the worst one we’ve had anywhere in a long time. I don’t know if she was new or what. She was friendly but she literally didn’t go out of her way for anything. She was good about refills but that’s where it stopped. We had to ask for straws, ask for napkins, ask for ketchup, ask when our food would be out. It took forever and when it did come out they would set it down and run. Didn’t give you time to say anything. Everybody but two in our party got their food and we were almost finished with ours when their food came out. Overall I love the idea of the restaurant but there are some kinks that need to be worked out before we visit again.
Our family was driving back from New Orleans, when we stumbled upon this place. The restaurant staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We ordered different burgers and sandwiches. My son and I had the crazy train burgers. This was the best burger I’ve had in a long time! I think this place is worth your time getting off the interstate.
After food was served and given the bill at the same time, never seen the waitress again. I was seated in the front and seems as though forgotten about.
Great atmosphere in an old train depot, loved the decor. By all means, walk thru the entire place. Good food, good service. Definitely a local hot spot as it was packed on this trip but very reasonably wait time. First time here so we tried 3 different burgers, g daddy, black n blue, and the chez topped with egg. Huge sandwiches!
Stopped in for take out as usual when on the road solo. Tried crazy burger and it was good. Onion rings were ok and homemade chips were a little soft. But overall good food. Liked the train station area and decor.

I ordered the Reuben Sandwich and it was probably one of the best I have had. Chicken sandwich was also good.
Very friendly waitresses. Very clean. Food came out piping hot and delicious! Chicken fried chicken mashed potatoes and pepper gravy wonderful. The coleslaw was delicious. We will definitely stop in again next time we pass through!
Cute atmosphere in an old train depot. We were a large group and had a room to ourselves. Service was good and food was delish! The menu is large and had so many tempting items that I had difficulty making up my mind. I ended up with a pimento cheese sandwich which was on Texas toast and like a grilled cheese sandwich. It was so good and it came with Saratoga type chips. The fried mushrooms came in a big basket and were big and tasty. Definitely a place I would return to if I am in the area. A local independent restaurant.
Wide menu selection. Took 10 minutes to wait in my table and 10 minutes to wait on next table. Food is hot and fresh. Small unimportant Salad Bar. Not worth it. To many other restaurants in Grenada, MS. 30 minutes North.
Small town bar. Owner is amazing
