Chicken tamales aren't salty or greasy and are $16 a dozen. So flavorful and fresh. Stop and try these. You won't be disappointed. 4 Stars because they are expensive pleasure. Most beef or pork tamales are about $10-12 dz in LA/MS. I'm a big fan of this place. Oh, 4 got to take pic of tamales. They are about 4 ins long and packed w/ chicken filling inside a corn husk. Delicious!
Y'ALL THEY GOOD. A little bit of Mexican and a whole lotta soul. The tamales were hot, flavorful, and moist. Packed with a good ratio of meat inside.Friendly service. Picnic seating. Do not pass it up!

My father and I were doing a family history trip to Woodville and came across this amazing spot. The owner and her family make absolutely amazing tamales out of the most unassuming space. They are so sweet and will answer any and all questions you may have about the area and the history of tamales in her family.Honestly this was maybe four years ago and I still will think about how good these tamales were on random nights.
