El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant

Good food

We haven’t eaten here in years due to us moving. Went back last night and it was awful. My beans were burnt, our to go order was wrong and also had burnt beans. And the automatic tip was ridiculous. You don’t tip on to go orders to the automatic tip on our bill was $10. Which is ridiculous.

Don’t take your family here if you have five people they force you to pay a tip. 18% at that. When I asked about it they said it was on the menu. It was on the bottom corner where the alcoholic beverages are. I didn’t see it. They said we are a party.

These people are nasty.They brought me bloody hot wings ,which were turkey leg size,and told me I couldnt get any other dish after I didn't want hot wings anymore. THEY took them and put them back in the fryer after I had tore through a couple of them ,brought them back burnt ,and expected me to eat them.I know that we never really know what goes on in the back of any of these places we eat at,but I'm not eating somewhere that doesn't even try to hide their nastiness

This place is nasty and the manager is very rude!!! My husband and I went here and ordered hot wings and fries. The wings were so big and you could tell that they weren't thoroughly cooked. As I proceeds to eat the wing blood poured from it!! I immediately asked for the waitress and showed her the chicken and told her I didn't want it and to order something else. She responded by saying let her tell her manager. She came back to tell me that the manager said she couldn't take it off the ticket and they would bring more out. I told her no ma'am especially with that experience I just had. The manager came over and I repeated to her the same thing that I didn't want it. 3 minutes later the waitress comes back out with the exact plate of chicken that was refried but burnt. I told the waitress there was no way yall thought I was going to put this in my mouth. The chicken that dripped blood that was served to me was taken to the back and refried and served back to me burnt??? I told her I wasn't paying for that and they could call the police because that's not how you serve anybody. I went through all of that when all management could have done was right. I will never ever eat there again!!!

I ordered 3 tomales which came tasting old. I told one of the ladies at the counter that they tasted old but she said they was freshly cooked which was a lie since someone else tried them too and they said they tasted old.

FOOD DISGUSTING
SERVICE IS AWFUL, PEOPLE EVEN GOT UP AND LEFT WHILE WE WERE WAITING ON OUR FOOD. THE LADY WHO TOOK OUR ORDER WAS SO RUDE!!! THE FOOD WAS BURNED AND ALL DARK LIKE THE GRILL NEEDED CLEANING WITH SPECKS OF BURNED PIECES ON THE CHICKEN. I JUST GOT A DRINK AFTER I SAW HOW RUDE THE WAITRESS WAS. THIS WAS MY THIRD AND LAST VISIT AND THE WORST!!! GRATUITY WAS ADDED IN ALREADY. I ASSUME BECAUSE OF THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN OUR PARTY, WHICH WAS SIX. MY POOR AUNT COULDN'T EVEN EAT HER FOOD BECAUSE IT WAS SO DISGUSTING AND SHE ONLY ASKED IF THEY WOULD TAKE OFF GRATUITY AND SHE WOULD STILL PAY, BUT THEY WOULDN'T. THE ONLY REASON I WENT THIS TIME WAS BECAUSE WE WERE CELEBRATING A SPECIAL MOMENT, BUT THE RESTARAUNT WE WOULD HAVE GONE TO WAS CLOSED. ANOTHER PERSON WITH US HAD CHIMICHANGAS. THEY SAID THEY TASTE LIKE THEY WERE STORE BOUGHT, LIKE FROM WALMART.

This is my favorite Mexican place because y’all have that razzle dazzle seasoning going on over there on them fajitas, blanco queso with chips, & your Sangria Margaritas are delicious.Love you guys!

Great food, good services. Decent prices. The only drawback is the inside is a bit dated. It could use some updating.
