“Staff was friendly and informative, gave me a recommendation to try the Philly cheese steak, which was hands down the best Philly cheese steak sandwich ? I've ever had. Yes, the first one I ever tried was in Philadelphia across from independence hall, and this blew that one out of the water. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned, I plan on trying a pizza ? on my next visit.“
“We had 2 hamburger meals, a chicken strip dinner, and a grilled cheese (with peppe-jack cheese) meal. They were all cooked perfectly and were deliciousI was especially impressed with the size (1/3) and cooking of the juicy hamburger. The waitress was cheerful and did her job well.We came from out of town about 20 minutes before closing and I thought we might not get served. We were never rushed and we will be back to eat again.“
“I hate telling people about places this good because I like the hidden gems staying hidden, but WFK is so far off the beaten path, I feel safe to share. The service and food here are incredible. Our first night, we had the pork ribs (amazing cherry bbq sauce), mac and cheese, caldera cauliflower (best thing on the menu), peach salad (excellently seasoned and the mozz cheese was awesome), and the potato salad. Literally every dish was on point, I couldn't find a thing to critique. It was so good we came back a second night and tried the brisket with most of the same sides. The owner was kind enough to walk me through the caldera cauliflower recipe and even told me to call him if I have trouble figuring it out at home. Kindness on another level! When you run into your rafting guides at the restaurant you know you picked the local's favorite. I hope they'll start opening up locations in Bozeman and beyond.“
“Montasia is worth the drive to Fishtail, which is worth the drive in itself, thanks to the beautiful Beartooth-Absaroka Wilderness. The house‐made margaritas were awesome, and so was the kung pao tofu. Their desserts are all made on site. The atmosphere is old-school Montana bar, but the food is modern. Go support an amazing family doing amazing things in an amazing place.“
“I had an excellent three-meat omelet. My son enjoyed his French toast, bacon, and hot cocoa. Our server was friendly and delightfully humorous. We haven't been often, but I felt treated as much a regular as those there who were obvious regulars. And so shall we be.“
