We are guests at the hotel for the last 10 days and went to the restaurant this evening. I realize that it is the low season but the service was absolutely terrible. We waited to be sat for close to 10 minutes, I cleaned our table, I had to run my own drinks and the meat on the charcuterie board was all fat. Sad to say because the atmosphere is perfect - disappointing. There are plenty of great places to eat when here - hopefully Block 3 ups their game.

We had a fantastic meal at Block 3! Everything we ordered was delicious and prepared well. The charcuterie appetizer and the game sausages were delicious! Everyone enjoyed their entrees as well. There is an extensive wine and cocktail menu also. The service was fantastic! Our waitress was extremely attentive! Will definitely return. We had never been in the past because we wrongfully assumed it was an average hotel restaurant. That's definitely not the case.
Best place in Big Sky by far. I went in solo and was just looking for a bite. I sat at the bar and the bartender, Rondo, took good care of me. Suggested just the right food and drinks. Great service and the food was amazing as well.

We had a nice dinner at Block 3. Cesar salad and bread were delightful and French fries were amazing! The noise level was pretty high and we cut our meal a bit short due to loud children a few tables away. Great service and pretty atmosphere.
Family dinner. Menu pleased everyone. We began with Ceasar Salad and a sausage tasting platter that was lovely and served with perfect accompaniments. Next we chose Filets , game and wild mushrooms, asparagus and creamy mashed potatoes, all perfectly prepared. Dessert was a fresh cheesecake with huckleberry compote. All delicious. We will return.
Greeting was on, had to wait at the host stand for a few minutes before anyone helped us, as a 2 top we were placed between 2 4 tops, felt crowded when there were open tables. Cesar salad was bland but decent, croutons were excellent. Coursing was good, drinks were good and timely. Service was friendly. Entrees, scallops were not cook properly, only one side, sauce and succotash? Wasn't good, didn't fit the dish, took away from the scallops, the green sauce was bitter and unpleasant, wife's steak was ok, chummy churri was great, potatoes were bland, broccolini was ok. Disappointed with table placement and half the food, just wasn't worth the money. Worth the try but won't be back for a bland menu.
Restaurant decor and atmosphere is cool. Host seating us seemed like we were bothering him. Reservation app said no 4tops were available, but they were all empty. Waiter was good and really nice, did a great job. Food was meh, especially for the extreme prices. I get it's probably hard to woo a good chef to a small resort town, but either introduce something special, or lower prices. Otherwise the menu was fine, but lazy.
My parents are visiting & on a whim, we decided to eat out. Although block3 is normally reservation only, Marissa was able to squeeze us in. Food was amazing (I highly recommend the starter sampler for the table) and will 100 percent be coming back. Thank you block3!

This restaurant is slow and rude and can’t get steaks to the table in less than 2 hours

We had a wonderful meal and great service here. Kids enjoyed the kids menu options, and the adults had the scallops, steak and a few sides - all were excellent. Don was our server and he took great care of us, checking in to ensure we had everything we needed and making good recommendations. Would definitely recommend for those in Big Sky looking for a nice dinner. Bonus - there was live music when we went and it was excellent!

Really good food.
Service was on the slower side even though the establishment was not very busy.
Overall, would recommend for a meal if you are in the area.

So every time I stay at a hotel I hesitate to eat dinner in the hotel restaurant as typically they are overpriced and not so good. We decided to try this one as it got pretty good reviews online. Overall disappointed after spending almost 300 for 3 people. My main beefs:
1. Overcooked steaks
2. Waiter did not return to check if steaks were cooked ok
3. Waiter put check on table before we finished eating
My husband tried to find a manager to complain to and nobody there
Well next time hopefully I will make a better choice and skip the hotel restaurant ?

Service was excellent. Checked back often. Drinks refilled and starters/entrees paced perfectly. All four of our steaks & burgers were cooked to perfect temp (from med rare to med well).
The spot is in a great location for Big Sky and offers a lovely ambiance. However, we had a bit of an unpleasant time with the service being curt about seating options, a 5 minute delay to our reservation, and slow to receive service despite being one of three tables filled. Besides the delays and tone, the spot was great for a work dinner if not a little pricey. Great cocktails
