It was an absolutely amazing experience!
The food was incredible from start to finish, every dish was delicious and perfectly prepared and presented.
To make it even better the service provided by our waiter Santiago was great. Everything was perfect.

“I always have a great experience at the Moonlight Tavern. I've been coming there for years when I ski Big Sky. I love the giant fireplace and large windows that make it a pleasure to dine and watch new snow fall. The wine list is very good and the food has always been solid. I had an elk steak this last time that was superb.”

“We were on vacation and needed some quick food. They were very fast considering how much we ordered. There were 6 of us, adults, teens, and littles. We ALL loved the food. We have lots of Mexican food options at home and what we got at Jalisco Taco bus was superb. There were so many options including a variety of meat. Atmosphere... It's a Taco bus. But there are tables outside that we ate at, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery.”

“Spent time with Chef Jaison and Greg for an in-house private eight person omakase experience. It was incredible. The quality of the sushi/food exceeded our expectations and the service was great.

Chef Jaison was easy to work with and plan for our meal.

“AUSSIE COFFEE LOVERS SHOULD GO HERE.
Yes, it is possible to find a decent coffee in the USA. Good rich flavour, good texture, and alternate milks. Still no chocolate sprinkles, but still the best I found in Big Sky. And make sure you try the home made Scottish Shortbread - yum.”

“I have been supporting Caliber Coffee since the good old days when she had a Main Street drive thru. This place roasts their own coffee, has the cutest ambiance in town, and is run by a single Mom, who is an independent business owner and works her tail off to serve our community and our military vets that live here. The support staff is kind, funny and hard working and goes above and beyond to make ya laugh and have fun while you’re there. You can even Door Dash the burritos and coffee:)”

“Cafe & Bakery may sound generic, but it does all your traditional cafe & bakery items well and so it's aptly named!Our group had juices, smoothies, croissants, and Nutella croissants. Lots of satisfaction, no complaints.If you're struggling to find it, it's on the second floor of the brown building to the left of the ticket building. The marker on Google Maps is accurate, but there's no signage outside that confirm it.”

“Always a mandatory stop whenever I'm in town! My absolute go-to is the roast beef hot sandwich—it’s always hit-the-spot delicious—paired with one of their brownies for the perfect finish. The atmosphere here is so welcoming and makes the visit even better. Definitely worth the stop every single time!”

“My well-justified criticism of the Big Sky restaurant situation notwithstanding, Big Sky has really improved the 2nd floor food court since I was last here a few years ago. Pretty good food selection for lunch and you can get your food quickly and the food is hot and good. Biggest issue is there is not enough seating during prime time, mostly due Big Sky having too few dining location options and no real on-mountain lunch (Everett's=high-end, Shedhorn too hard to get to without accidentally winding up on a black diamond). Top of Mr. K is a perfect place to build a lunch dining option--spend your money there instead of the tram to the top that is planned, Big Sky.”

“Nice spot for dinner. It was packed. Our waitress was friendly but it was a bit of a factory of getting people seated, fed, and out. Burgers were solid. Order of onion rings was great. Beers were cold and tasty.”

“Hands down the best coffee ever! The flavors are incredible. I ordered the Honey Badger with cayenne pepper, and it was amazing—such a unique and delicious combination. The coffee shop is absolutely adorable, and the store next door is just as charming. A great place to stop while in Big Sky!”

“Excellent choice for on sky resort restaurant. I feel like their wings and burger are standout. Cocktails are uniques and salads have fresh ingredients. Service includes tip, maybe our party size was 9. Servers should inform diners ahead of bill if this is the case.”

“5 pm reservation time was perfect. And we were first in line at 5 so I feel we got the absolute best view table for 2. The food was great. One had ribeye and the other salmon. My salmon was overcooked , but I failed to tell the waiter that I wanted it between med rare to medium . Wedge salad blue dressing really good. Dark by time we left so perfect for viewing the lights.”

“This is our first time in Big Sky and feeling lucky to have Chet’s walking distance to our room. The Wild Mushroom pasta was sublime and the huckleberry ice cream…save room! Hubby had the Wild Game Meatloaf and it melted in his mouth! Thank you Allie took great care of us. Highly recommend Chet’s.”
