“Stopped in solo on 6-7-26 (Sunday eve and decided to come in town for a couple drinks while camping up the road) - recommendation from a local that I met at another bar). Single artist singing while the sports game playing on the big screen- eventually staff turned off TV as the eve went on. Ordered glass of wine with the Trout dinner. Excellent! Loved the sides compared to the standard mash potatoes and veg side. Taste was great!”

“We have lived in Big Sky for 20 years and have been dining at Cortina since the very first week it opened. We loved it then, and it has evolved into what we consider one of the very best dining experiences in Big Sky. From the moment you arrive, there is a level of warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail that is evident throughout the entire restaurant. The service is consistently impeccable, and the food is exceptional beautifully prepared, thoughtfully presented, and, without exception, delicious. Every visit is a 10. What makes Cortina particularly special is its remarkable consistency. After all these years, the team continues to deliver at an extraordinarily high level, which is no small accomplishment in a resort community. Our highest compliments to the chef (who was kind enough to personally say, “hello”.), the servers, and the entire Cortina team. “Such a wonderful experience! This place will always be special to me because it was part of my very first experience seeing snow, which made everything feel even more magical. ❄❤

The food was fantastic, and I had the opportunity to try different kinds of meat I had never tasted before, which made the experience even more memorable. Everything was delicious, and the beautiful snowy surroundings made it unforgettable.

“Not gonna lie... The place is much better when Gully is there. Gully's dad makes the coffee and handles the money. We know who really runs the place though. A great spot for local info. Try a muffin. Drink some coffee. Get some Big Sky flavor.”

“It was well above our expectations when we first walked in. The burgers were amazing. Double smash burgers with grilled onions on onion buns were top tier. Others had the spring rolls, Philly cheesesteak (on a huge cheese roll), and caesar salad. We sat outside and had a great view with good music. A nice spot for a casual dinner.”

“My well-justified criticism of the Big Sky restaurant situation notwithstanding, Big Sky has really improved the 2nd floor food court since I was last here a few years ago. Pretty good food selection for lunch and you can get your food quickly and the food is hot and good. Biggest issue is there is not enough seating during prime time, mostly due Big Sky having too few dining location options and no real on-mountain lunch (Everett's=high-end, Shedhorn too hard to get to without accidentally winding up on a black diamond). Top of Mr. K is a perfect place to build a lunch dining option--spend your money there instead of the tram to the top that is planned, Big Sky.”

“Cafe & Bakery may sound generic, but it does all your traditional cafe & bakery items well and so it's aptly named!Our group had juices, smoothies, croissants, and Nutella croissants. Lots of satisfaction, no complaints.If you're struggling to find it, it's on the second floor of the brown building to the left of the ticket building. The marker on Google Maps is accurate, but there's no signage outside that confirm it.”

“Blue Moon Bakery in Big Sky is awesome! Bagel Benny was hot, fresh and delicious. 100% would recommend to anyone looking for sweet rolls, breakfast or a quick slice of pizza.”

“Great food! Whether you get a pre-made sandwich from the hot case, or have them cook you up a burger and fries, you really can't go wrong. Very small seating area. We got our stuff to go.”

“We made a last minute dinner reservation same day and hands down it was the best experience, especially for our 2 kiddos. The staff were outstanding, the epitome of customer service, as was the manager Rob who we cannot thank enough. My daughter asked our waitress if they had onion rings and she said unfortunately no which was totally fine no big deal. But not 5 minutes later, the manager Rob came up and said he can make onion rings no problem. It made my daughter's day! And it was one of the best onion rings we've ever had. He came back a few times to check on us, and it just made our overall experience special. The ambience is beautiful and a perfect balance between a sports bar and a nice family dining restaurant. The best part, they have a free arcade in the back corner with a pool table and foosball. Then immediately adjacent to the dining room is bowling. Needless to say our kids were thrilled. They would bounce back and forth from the table to the arcade. Then after dinner we all went bowling and had milkshakes. Such a unique and fun experience. Wish they had more places like this, especially where we live in the midwest. 100/10 highly recommend!!!”

“Love this place. It’s our third summer in Big Sky, and we’ve been to The Brothel every year at least once. Staff are so friendly, the music is killer and the beer is delicious. So many great micro-brews that we can’t get our hands on up in Canada. So much to look at on the walls, too. Can’t get enough of it!”

“We wanted a good burger, so I did some research and found Montana Jack. Dude, the burger was amazing! The fries were fantastic and their Dr. Pepper had the perfect mixture amount of syrup and carbonation to help wash down the delicious food. I also tried one wing my friend had. Super tasty! Lily our server was fantastic as well. Highly recommend this place if you are near Big Sky!”

“I wasn't expecting the food to be that good since it was up at the top of a mountain. Figured it would be kind of like the food at Knotts Berry Farm or Disneyland as far as quality was concerned. It turned out to be way better than I expected. It's not Morton's or Ruth's Chris...but it's really good! My wife had a steak and salad and I had the strawberry date salad with grilled chicken as the protein. I asked for several subs and add-ons and they were very accommodating. The service was great as well. Very attentive and overall it was a great experience!”
