The Waypoint Bar •
50 Ousel Falls Rd, Big Sky

“Tarantino Movie Night. We walked in at 6:30, had delicious food by 6:50, grabbed some large buttered popcorns and pop and walked right into the theatre at 7:10 for Reservoir Dogs. The bison chili is fresh and delicious. Everyone is accommodating and clearly wants to provide a fun and warm environment. The theatre is very nice. It's a fun family night destination (and for those who drink alcohol a very nice bar and tender). Pulp Fiction next Thursday! We'll be making this Tarantino movie run a family night each week. Thanks Waypoint!“

“Had a great time here. Music was good, food was good, but the best part was the service! Rob talked to us about Big Sky and how amazing of a place it is. He gave us a lot of local tips and also recommended some great drinks (snowplow & mezcal old fashion). I would go back but only if Rob was our server.“

Beehive Basin Brewery Brewery • $
245 Town Center Ave, Big Sky

“All the beer is made on-site. I had the Dictator Stout and my husband has the Bourbon Barrel Aged Porter. Absolutely delicious! Bought a sandwich from the market to share, perfect snack before our next hike of the day! The owner or brewer must have a sense of humor as the beverage names are interesting. They have a sign that says: unattended children will be given espresso and a puppy. Dog friendly as long as you’re a responsible owner. Back after hike 2. The Saison is smooth and the U Prickly Pear Seltzer is super refreshing and a pretty pink color. Our server was nice and friendly.“

“Great grill! Had lunch here and the food was delicious. Can get pretty crowded so try and come a bit earlier than typical dining hours. The menu is very meat heavy, but that’s what you can expect from a grill. Plenty of seating is available both inside and outside, but during typical dining hours inside seating can be pretty limited. But great place to get food overall!“

“Great independent establishment. It's probably the closest 'dive' vibe you'll get around the village. Reasonably priced (in relative terms; Big Sky is pretty much Disney World now as a destination resort). Food was great (recommend the Reuben and Black Bean burger), drinks were great (recommend hot buttered rum to warm you up), and the vibe was everything you'd expect -- a healthy mix of laid back and mountain stoke. We'll definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Black Bean burger is delicious“

“Moved to the area from Texas, the bartender was very polite. Even though I was just stopping thru town to get a drink, he chatted me up and made me feel like one of the regulars. Will definitely keep coming to the Broken Spoke when I come through Big Sky!“

“Lots of Fun! Great Townie bar with solid bar food choices. Signature cocktails were OK. The spicy Margarita wasn't very spicy, though, but the Manhattan was great. All are welcome here, and the mix of townies (locals) and ski tourists was easy and fun. Plenty of flirting going on for young and older. It was Line Dance lessons on a Tuesday night, and the place was packed! The dancing was great, and by the end of the night, everyone was mixing and mingling. It was a great experience all around. One complaint. I was told they had amazing fried cheese curds and was looking forward to trying them. Sadly, new management took them off the menu. Tots were crunchy and abundant. I'll go again next year, next time for Karaoke!“
