We are local to Spanish Peaks and eat at Cortina frequently. This was an off-night for the kitchen. Pasta and chicken were good. The venison was overdone and the vegetables cold. However, Max and the service team as always tried to make it right.

Food and service were great. Limited wine by the glass selection was the only small negative. Not a reason not to eat there when in Big Sky.

We had an incredible breakfast in Cortina. Everyone was so attentive and the food was delicious! We will be back.

Spent Fathers Day in Big Sky. Service was very good and the food was also excellent. Casual elegant dining atmosphere and amazing desserts. We will plan to go again on our next visit.

We really like Cortina and have previously had great meals and great service there but tonight was just ok. Salads were tasty but smaller than on our last visit. The pasta entree special was about the size of a primi portion which was disappointing. Desserts were still spectacular - the budino is gorgeous and to die for. While the server was very nice, attention was a bit lacking. We had to ask for water refills, ask for more butter, ask for knives and ask for the focaccia to be brought back to the table as it was picked up without asking if we were done with it. Maybe we just didn't choose our entrees well last night but for a high end restaurant with high prices everything should be great all the time.

Fantastic food and especially service. Ethan, the sommelier, is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Kasi does an excellent job catering to my dietary restrictions, as well as being warm and welcoming. I had the chicken, and it was about the best I've ever had. Top-notch food and service at Cortina!

Wow, if you want great food, then Cortina is a must have. The service was amazing. The dishes we had -- the parmigiana lasagna, squid ink spaghetti, Agnolotti, Burrata and all 4 desserts - were incredible. We didn't go wrong with either dish. The portions were perfect. I know I will return.

We had the best meal and service in all of Big Sky. Well worth it! Everything was excellent! Caesar salad was fresh and crisp, Squid ink pasta and shrimp was the best pasta that we have had in a long time and the half chicken was juicy! Side order of wild mushrooms was fantastic! Congratulations to the whole team! Well executed! Will definitely be back, all the best. Oh and don't forget to taste the in house gelato! Yummy

Fantastic experience...the best in Big Sky. The food is truly top-notch and service is impeccable. Daniel is an excellent server. From host stand to to-go boxes, everything was on point and the staff were all so friendly at every step. Thank you!

Som needs to be more creative. Gaia is good but a no-brainer and an easy out. Our server, Kasi, was trying hard & was attentive. Appreciated her efforts. Odd plating presentations: venison was a small portion and sat all alone on a plate while the veal seemed quite large & filled the plate. Both dishes were flavorful. Cacio e Pepe was yummy but could have used more pepper. Seasonal mushroom was lions mane but had zero flavor. They removed the charge, which was nice. Gamberi e granchio (squid ink seafood pasta) was ok but not worth taking home the leftovers. Burrata was quite good. Had an early dinner and the sunsetting light provided a nice glow. Tables close by do elevate the noise easily.

Outstanding view great meal well curated wine list and manicured drinks. The fresh pasta bolognese is a must.

Nice setting. Good food. Service was rude and slow. The server was very curt and then didn't visit our table for 15-20 minutes at a time (even after ordering a $300 bottle of wine). The sommelier had to clear our plates at one point. Also two groups around us asked for the shades to be lowered because the sun was blinding and it took 30 minutes for that to happen. Overall felt like they want to be a high end restaurant but the service was well short of that.

Lovely space and the service staff were excellent. But, the bone marrow was only one bone and so overly dressed with unnecessary toppings the flavor of any marrow was lost. Pasta dishes arrived cold and very unremarkable. All our entrees were slow to come out, barely warm and not what you would expect at any normal restaurant.
