First time eating at horn and cantle.
Really enjoyed the ambience, the food, the music and the service. Brent was a perfect server- attentive but not overbearing and paced our meal nicely. The carrot cake and steaks especially were really top level. Definitely make a reservation

Very good food, and a great atmosphere. Had the wild game bolognese. Very unique flavor, but very good. Large portion sizes. Can definitely split a salad.

Probably worth the visit if you're in the area from an overall experience standpoint. Overall it was nothing special from a food standpoint. Cocktails are solid. Desserts are great. The food was below expectations for sure but still a positive dining experience.

Great place for an upscale dining experience. Staff is always wonderful and DO NOT miss out on the steak tartar and elk meatballs. The salads are huge, definitely consider sharing.

The food was exceptional. We ate at the bar - it is VERY loud! this was seriously the best pork chop I’ve ever had in my entire life. The au gratin potatoes were also delicious.

Next time we will reserve a table far in advance. We were very lucky to score a table at the bar but only because we showed up early. Staff was very busy, but they did a good job.

The only thing that would make it better would be to enforce a 21 and up bar area. The bar was fun and lively, but should be for adults only.
There was not much seating and kids were crowding our table. The food was exceptional. We ate at the bar and did not know what to expect , but this was seriously the best pork chop I’ve ever had in my entire life. The au gratin potatoes were also delicious.

i walked outside after eating buffalo chicken wings, and a cow got mad at me and started attacking me. i ran to my car, and opened my car door but then the cow jumped inside my car, and got in the drivers seat and stole my car. i had to call my mom to come get me because my was stolen by the cow.😭 the food was great though!

Dinner at Horn and Cantle is Worth It, if you've ever watched that series. The atmosphere, service, and food all align wonderfully to create an experience that is truly memorable.

My wife and I enjoyed an early Valentine's dinner. Although we didn't have reservations, the hostess was able to seat us on a Thursday evening with a wonderful spot near the fireplace. Our cocktails were perfectly executed and started our meal off on the right foot. We chose salads, which were both plentiful and delicious -- fresh ingredients put together correctly, and not over dressed in any way.

With so many choices on the menu, my wife decided on the appetizer feast for her entree -- elk meatballs, trout dip, and mushroom plate. The simple descriptions didn't do this feast justice, as it would have been more than enough for both of us to be sated, but each of the dishes complemented the others. Highly recommended. My bison short rib was equally outstanding, perfectly executed and a single was more than enough food.

The server also provided sommelier service and helped us select a bottle of Cote de Rhone that worked very nicely with all of our selections.

Although we couldn't come close to finishing our entrees/feast, we shared the signature carrot cake and were glad we did.

If you're deciding whether to visit Horn and Cantle, you might be considering other options like M further up the mountain (where we had an excellent dinner earlier in the week). The experiences are different and while you can't go wrong with either place, choose Horn and Cantle: you will not have this type of experience elsewhere, and isn't that what you want at Big Sky?

It was a nice restaurant, but it was priced in line with high-end steakhouses without the high end steakhouse experience. Boring menu & Steak was hardly warm.

Just did not seem comparable to other steakhouses that we’ve been to in other ski towns.

All the staff are very friendly and the food was good

Unfortunately after eating here I woke up in the middle of the night with extreme stomach pain and nausea, likely food poisoning. Killed my ski day
