Great Ranch feel nice Lodge huge Dining area and outdoor Patio covered overlooking the Ranch....Great drinks and food.
Food, service, and atmosphere were 10/10! Highly recommended!
I visited Big Sky for the first time a the end of March and ate here with my sister and 2 friends. We started our night in the bar section, which was an incredible vibe - live music and an all around great time. The singer Amanda was so so sweet (+ talented) and gave us great tips for our time in Big Sky.
Our dining experience was hands down the best I ever had in my life. Our server Joel was elite. Not only did he cater to every dietary restriction (nuts for me and celiac for my friend), but he had us laughing non-stop. He looked adorable in his cowboy outfit and his personality matched.
The food was delicious. Everything all four of us ate was divine. I am super picky and difficult to please, but Joel made sure we were 1000% satisfied with everything we ate. His attention to detail was unmatched. The service we received was incomparable to anywhere I have ever eaten dinner.
As someone with a severe nut allergy, I can confidently say he went above and beyond. Do not skip out on visiting this restaurant on your trip to Big Sky. It was our first trip out and definitely not our last.
PS - If you're lucky, you'll have a celebrity sighting like we did!
This is an amazing restaurant. We had the pasta bolognese, which was delicious.I highly recommend it
One of the top restaurants in the area.
Delicious food, great atmosphere and one of a kind service.
I’ve been a few times with big groups in both cases and the huckleberry cocktail they serve is delicious.
Love , love love this place. Can’t miss item is the pork chop. Also excellent is the bison filet which has more flavor than you would expect for a filet , the bone in ribeye comes in third ahead of the elk, which are very good until you try the other three. Great feel , lovely bar , but small.
Had a great experience here for dinner. Jake was our waiter and he was excellent. They have an extensive wine list and are able to offer great recommendations based on your orders. I would highly recommend Horn and Cantle.
Brian was the best server! He made our night an unforgettable experience and we enjoyed the food and the experience that much more because of him. Thank you thank you thank you!
This hits the spot on all things mountain west. From the music and decor to the food and drinks, nothing about this place misses the mark
Incredible restaurant in a beautiful setting.
Excellent service, I'm glad this restaurant exists in Big Sky where there's somewhat limited options.

It was quite pricey and taste did not meet expectations, this was my reason for four stars. Our server was great. Service was quick. Be prepared for a little hike to the restaurant.
As someone who has also worked in fine dining, I can truly appreciate the perfect dining experience. The food was delicious, the ambiance was five stars, but what really blew it out of the water was our server, Ryan. His attention to detail and food knowledge was top notch, and his wine knowledge was unmatched. If you are ordering wine, trust me, you will want to request him! He made our group of 8 people feel like we were the only ones in the room. It is a meal I will remember for a very long time.
Great food and atmosphere ruined by inattentive service. Night started off well; we were able to get a walk-in table in the saloon area. There was live music with an acoustic guitar player. Dinner was really good. Things took a turn when we were offered the dessert menu. Initially we might have passed but our waiter suggested the huckleberry cheesecake. We were happy with how our entrees turned out so we opted for a dessert but it was never delivered. We can only assume that our waiter forgot about us after not being checked on for 15+ minutes while he worked elsewhere behind the bar literally 10 feet away. When he realized we were still waiting he offered to put in our order again so that we could wait another 15-20 minutes. It was kind of a joke at that point because dinner was long over for us. Long story short we can’t really recommend going to a restaurant where you can be easily forgotten and passed along. If you do end up going, be sure to skip dessert.
The entire ranch is beautiful. The lunch sleigh ride was phenomenal. Every staff member was knowledgeable helpful and very cheerful. Great bratwurst, burgers, and salads. Highly recommend anything at Lone Mountain Ranch!!
I cannot say enough good things about this place. The experience with our server, Ryan, was incredible. Not only did Ryan have an extensive knowledge of wine, he made our dinner so special and personalized. 10/10. ASK FOR RYAN!
