I know it's the shoulder season, but you simply CANNOT have your first res walk up to the host stand with 2 staff members sitting down at the bar right there in front of the door. This is hospitality 101. Also, everyone was kind enough, but you really must review items that are 86'd on the menu with your table as soon as they sit down or at water service. I was really looking forward to ordering the A-5 Wagyu (and totally fine with paying that price) for a week in advance! Then, after looking over the menu and deciding what our choices for the evening will be, to only THEN, when actually ordering, to be told you no longer have the A-5.....you can't do this. This really put a blemish on the rest of the evening. I would expect this at a fast-casual restaurant maybe, but not at a fine dining restaurant. And also, perhaps a small thing, but important nonetheless, you really should not put ice in someone's pellegrino. This is akin to putting ice in someone's beer or wine. Maybe some people like this, but at the very least, ask the question! If people order mineral water, it's because they don't want to drink tap water. The ice machine is tap water....think about it. You should change the SOP. And lastly...when restaurant capacity is down and the dining room is quiet, you should should be aware of how loud the music is coming out of the kitchen. Otherwise, the food was tasty and well-executed. Pork was tender and juicy. Croquettes were very good. Thank you for splitting the shared salad without us even requesting that....nice touch. Our server was very nice.

The meal was nothing short of amazing. My partner and I shared the tomahawk steak (menu indicates for two but I know it can serve 3). Cooked perfectly to MR. The vegetables were cooked al dente, (the best carrots I’ve ever eaten), had the lobster arancini appetizer along with the brassicas (beet humus, roasted brussel sprouts, goat cheese, and sliced baguette). Tiramisu and a delicious lava cake topped it all off. I will definitely be back and recommend to anyone traveling to Big Sky. Hat’s off to the Exec chef and his team.

Pretty perfect hotel restaurant / bar. Food and drinks are top notch. The service to get folks seated could be a bit speedier, but that may be the result of being here late in the season and being a New Yorker

The food was just OK for the price. Had much better aged steaks. Had the tomahawk with my wife. Sides were good. They tried to sit seven of us at a six person round table. Had to ask for a larger table, and not that attentive for a restaurant at that price point.

Best. Meal. Ever. We don’t splurge like this often but this was absolutely worth every penny. Every dish we tried was the perfect balance of unique flavor and comforting familiarity. If you get the chance don’t skip the duck confit croquettes and lobster arancini. The A-5 Wagyu tenderloin was melt in your mouth amazing, executed perfectly, and unlike any cut of meat I’ve ever experienced. Just do it. You’re on vacation. I also snuck bites in the bison ribeye and the angus tenderloin and was not disappointed. I’m not sure you can go wrong here. The sides are also very impressive. I recommend sharing the mashed potatoes or mac and cheese both are comforting and a great option if you have kids at the table. But the roasted heirloom carrots are a show stealer. I know I’m gushing at this point but I don’t care, I can’t stress this enough … save 👏 room 👏 for 👏 dessert 👏! Here is what you need to do. Order the lava chocolate cake. That’s a must. If you have a group also share the bread pudding, and tiramisu. My husband says I need to find something negative to say so that you will believe I’m a real person who really ate here, but I can’t. The wait staff was so nice and attentive. The chef even came out personally to check on us and make sure we were having a nice time. I can’t recommend this place more. Thank you for the core memory meal.

The breakfast business model should change to a buffet, long waits and multiple groups turned away because of staff shortages. A missed opportunity for everyone.

Keep in mind that this is a "steak house" in a ski resort. You should expect to get reamed on prices. Sides were all quite good...main dishes fall well short of excellent. Very expensive for what is delivered but what can you really expect at this location? Go in, have a few drinks and a decent meal and be thankful to be on vacation. Just don't do a quality/price comparison with big market restaurants. This place doesn't come close.

If you're up at the big sky base area this is the place to go. Not cheap but absolutely the best food experience in the area. Venison was best we ever had. The sides mushrooms and the broccolini were amazing. This kitchen knows what they are doing. Great service as well. Would highly recommend this as a destination while in Big Sky.

5 stars all the way around. The food, service, drinks, all of it! The ambiance. I would come here over and over again. Will be back every time I come to big sky. One of the best New York Steaks I have had. I was unsure at first being in Montana I like my wild game and different stuff but they did not miss.

Family has been coming to Peaks on our annual trip to Big Sky and it's been phenomenal each time. Head chef personally came out to speak with my sister who has severe allergies which was reassuring and made her feel safe. Service on point and the food is delicious.

The 16oz ribeye was delicious but we were really glad that we split it with an appetizer- the elk tartare was presented in a unique fashion and was delicious. Albert was helpful with wine selection and always on time to refill our glasses. The cornbread is a special treat.

We were seated for 1.5 hours and had yet to receive our entrees. The waiter told us it was because a surprise party, however guests around us were receiving their food in time. We will not be coming back.

Lived up to my very low expectations. Lovely ambience, service was very good. The food is grossly overpriced and not particularly good. The $50 salmon was less good than what I cooked the night before in my condo. Hamachi crudo is was 24 for 4 in.² of Hamachi swimming in a somewhat gross sauce. The truffle macaroni with mushrooms had no trace of truffle oil must've been a virtual spray. The best items were the free housemate cornbread, and the chocolate lava cake. Unfortunately, dining options within walking distance of big sky resort are very limited.

The food is great. I love the elk tartar and stew.
