The Cabin is a perennial favorite of mine when I visit Big Sky! They serve elk, walleye, and Bison from local area sources. All deliciously prepared, cozy and very “mountain-y” decor, friendly and helpful staff. Usually go there multiple times on my trips!!
The cabin is the best Montana food experience on the mountain. They always have a selection of wild game, fish and vegan options. The drinks are fun and innovative. We had JaRod. He was really nice and helpful. Thanks for a fun night after a fun day of skiing.
The food was extraordinary! We had the bison ribs which were so tender the meat fell off the bones, it was served over perfectly made mashed potatoes. We also had the Elk tenderloin with blackberry port sauce and it was amazing. The veggies were tender and also seasoned to perfection. I had always thought Elk and Bison would be a bit tough and gamey, but we could not get over how tender and tasty the meat was... The seasoning and sauces were a master piece! It was on the expensive...
