Love Westward Social!! Always on our list for every Big Sky visit!! Christina was also a fantastic server!!
Big tvs and bar scene vibe. Loud with music and talking/festive atmosphere. We arrived at 6:30 and there were lots of kids with families and several empty tables. By 7:30, it was full with mostly adult only groups. Our server was friendly and attentive. Old fashioneds (just regular, not their special version) were outstanding! Smash burger and crab cake sandwich were both very good. Vanilla gelato was tasty. Brownie was nothing special.
Dinner for six. Only two diners got the same item: Double Smashburgers. Both said “best burger EVER!”. A real surprise to us were the hush puppies as an appetizer. Different than what you're thinking, believe me. Wings were meaty and delicious. Kids Mac n cheese was also good. All items were great! Very nice cocktail menu. Bartenders that knew how to make a quality drink, not the shortcut stuff (think Old Fashioned). Wine list is serviceable, but it's not a wine bar. Ashley was our server and killed it! They have a good team in place from host to runner. Vibe is laid back. Value is one of the top at Big Sky. We ate there twice in a week, so yeah, we liked it. Hope you do as well!
The food was pretty solid but what really stood out was the service by Jared from HI. Best server we’ve ever had!!!!

The food was good, nothing great. The service was NOT good our server she came to our table 2 or 3x, 1 to take order 2 to drop the food and 3 to drop the check. Not sure if they were understaffed, but we give benefit of the doubt.

Mason rocked it behind the bar both nights that I popped in for a late dinner. He had great recommendations for the food, the beer, and makes a mean Brown Butter Old Fashioned! Overall a great couple of nights to end beautiful summer days in Big Sky.

Overpriced, for not that much food. Meat was undercooked.

Great location. Had steak and a salad Visually the steak was great and the side were very nice but the steak needed significant salt and pepper to add flavor. Waiter was stretched thin because of a large party so I cant criticize the service but they would have made more money on drinks if he had been to the table more.

We came in the evening for a late dinner, and proceeded to wait 15 just to get no service, let alone a glass of water. The restaurant had hardly anyone else there. Why is the food so expensive if I can’t even order it. Will not be back. Only saving grace were the mama and baby moose walking down the slopes.

We had both lunch and dinner here during our stay. For lunch we shared a smashburger - the menu said it had two patties but the burger seemed to only have one…despite that, it was juicy and delicious! The fries were amazing as well. That evening my husband liked the burger so much that he ordered it again. This time it had two patties but was not as flavorful and juicy as before. The fries were still yummy. I ordered the gnocchi and really enjoyed the hint of spice in the sauce. It was a generous portion but wish it was warmer. We all started with beverages from the bar: the Old Fashioned was great! We had the brownie for dessert and were not impressed. Our server for lunch was Finn and he was still there when we brought the rest of the family for dinner but we sat in Brian’s section - both gentlemen were attentive and did a great job!

Ellie the server was great, the manager gal was great, would have been less stars if not for them. I’m not gonna hammer anyone more here, but whoever is making the bread for the bahn- mi should try rice flour to make it lighter and proper for a Vietnamese sandwich if you’re gonna charge 34$ for it, it needs to be perfect, pay more for better cooks in kitchen

Great service . The food came out very quick. It was very good. The kids meals were fantastic. The potato soup was also amazing.
Westward Social is a good choice for a drink, an app or dinner at Big Sky if you want something more than a bar meal. Prices are reasonable compared to the area and the quality and service are good. I am glad they have added this option.
Unfortunately, we had reservations and they weren't prepared. We waited too long for them to find a table and the service was ridiculous. We waited 25 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us and only after we approached the host. The food was just okay as well. We won't return.
