Great food made fresh good amount of beers on tap and they have a pretty popular trivia night and good live music. Nice outdoor seating in the warm months. Pretty decent location not too far from Bigfork if you're looking to get out of a tourist trap and eat somewhere truly local!

This is our favorite place for a quick bite to eat. It's a great neighborhood bar and local hangout. The food is excellent and the service is amazing. Best of all, the value of food for your money is on point
It is, in fact, 'a bar'. Pretty standard grub, with a modest selection - yet a wide variety of quality burgers. Beer on tap was a bit limited as well, but had at least one option for just about anyone.

We stayed in Big Fork and came across A Bar near our short term rental. From the bar staff to the servers to the kitchen staff, everyone was welcoming to us out of towners, friendly and attentive and all around superb! The daily specials are truly excellent. From someone who hosts a dinner party in the sky ✈️ for 350 passengers several times a month, I genuinely was so impressed with the efficiency of the kitchen. They took pride in their prep and food delivery and presentation. Food was delivered by the kitchen as soon as it was finished. It was served piping hot.
After a long day of hiking we looked forward to stopping at a friendly place with good drinks and comfort food. Well done A Bar!!

If I could leave 10 stars I absolutely would! Amazing service! Delicious food! Fantastic spicy Bloody Mary’s! I have been coming through Big Fork heading to Glacier for 9 years and have been wanting to find a great place to eat. And this will be my must stop at location on my way to the park now, and whenever I come back to Glacier. Bravo. Phenomenal. Steve was my bartender if you want the best freakin bloodies of your life. I will happily drive the 28 minutes from the park to this location to get more of their food and drinks. Best. Bar. Ever.
