“Great local burger place! Great shakes and amazing onion rings. I got the famous Flathead Monster burger w/added bacon and it was amazing. The black raspberry shake was great too. I thought the fry sauce was great with their homemade onion rings. This place also is a good option for huckleberry shakes. Definitely stop here.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and my NY steak was the best I'd ever had. The menu is very good but lacking vegan options. The ambience is typical golf course but the dining room is upscale which was nice. Our server Shannon was excellent. Overall a great experience.”

“We discovered Sonder Mountain Co. while waiting for our table at the neighboring Echo Lake Cafe, and we're so glad we stopped in. The two businesses are sister establishments, making it the perfect place to browse while waiting for breakfast.

Sonder Mountain Co. is a charming shop offering coffee, fresh flowers, vintage cowboy boots and clothing, jewelry, and a wonderful selection of and locally inspired items. I found a beautiful horseshoe ring that I couldn't resist.

After breakfast, we stopped back in before heading out to explore the rest of Bigfork, where I picked up a few bottles of Coke for the road. The store also has a comfortable seating area and restrooms, which were a nice bonus.

The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the entire shop had a warm, inviting atmosphere. If you're visiting Echo Lake Cafe or spending time in Bigfork, Sonder Mountain Co. is definitely worth a stop.”

“Great company! I found Fieldheads Coffee when I was out in Yellowstone National park and would stop at the local Mudd hut in Cody, WY on our way into the park. Since then I've been ordering a steady supply to enjoy back home here in FL. Always impressed with how timely their shipping is, I placed my order around noon today and just checked and it is already on it's way. Having done some online sales for the seafood market I work for I know this is not always an easy process! Just wanted to say Thank you and keep up the great work!”

“It's fantastic every time we go, but tonight (a Thursday) they were packed and Ive never seen two waitresses working so hard and still being so friendly and accommodating. I love the carnitas, chili relleno, and the salsa. The new Sea Salt Stone Cerveza they carry is great too! highly recommend!”

“***UPDATE*** since writing this review the owners have reached out to me to ask for more information. Once i provided that information they have said they are going to address the issues with their staff. We will definitely return given the amount of sincerity and appreciation we saw from the owners- they truly care and thsts important in today’s business climate! 💕 Wish the review was more than yes or no. As locals, we finally decided to give Sitting Duck a try yesterday. First of all I will say, we will go back and give it another try. Now for the constructive criticism They were not terribly busy when we decided to go for an early dinner (about 4 on a Saturday). My husband ordered the chicken ranch sandwich and I ordered the egg rolls. Both fried. Maybe the person working the fryer was new, but both the chicken and egg rolls were over cooked. Not golden brown, but dark brown. 😕 I even noticed someone nachos and a little girls chicken strips— over cooked! The fried tortilla chips had been fried to death and the little girls chicken strips were dark brown. Maybe work with the person manning the fryer to not attempt to burn the food - it wasn’t enjoyable. Second, there was a group of people who came in and they were either already half sauced or just a bunch of idiots. The 2 guys in the group were each in wheelchairs…which they did not need! They each rolled/tumbled down the wood steps to the back deck - one guy fell out of the wheelchair and then “miraculously” got up, picked up the wheelchair and continued on with the antics. Then they all tumbled down the steps onto the dock where their friends proceeded to push each of them and the wheelchairs INTO THE LAKE! Once again they miraculously climbed out of the lake and thankfully pulled the wheelchairs out as well (thankfully they weren’t left to rust and spoil our lake). Why in the world would Sitting Duck allow these idiots to behave like this? They not only were disruptive, but if they or someone else had been seriously injured you would have had a lawsuit to deal with. Thankfully all of this occurred towards the end of our meal and we saw no reason to stay and enjoy the beautiful view and sunshine further…these idiots just ruined it for not only us but all of the other patrons around us (as was clear by the comments we overheard). Not impressed.”
