“In the summer of 2023 we hosted a reunion for extended family, 24 guests, for four nights at The Nest. It was a magical time! All of what we saw on the website was accurate: lodging options that were rustic on the outside and luxurious on the inside. There were lovely spaces to allow individual families to be together in privacy, as well as large spaces to gather together. Pam and Mike have succeeded in inviting folks to spend time outdoors: for instance, there are riverside patios that encourage spending time watching the birds on the river. The riverbend itself is an appealing place to put in a kayak and take a safe and beautiful paddle around the corner, upstream or down. There are two large commercial kitchens. For us, the Lodge was the space to gather each evening, with one family group cooking each night. We commissioned the local baker, Mr Blu of Blu Funk, to make us a few dozen bran and carrot cake muffins for our breakfasts. Coffee is available in the Lodge all the time, and individual cabins have coffee makers. Pam and Mike were present, hospitable, and not intrusive. We even found fresh bread and huckleberry jam in the kitchen, as an unexpected treat! The area itself is naturally blessed with pine trees, fresh water, mountain trails, birds, and other wildlife. I hope we can go back, if not this year then next, with all our family members along!“
“They serve sandwiches During certain hours of the day and there's always the bar which is open every day during all hours and the bartender knows what he's doing and is very friendly. There is a small Casino it's just the right size and I won $269 in about 20 minutes. As I was leaving I stopped at the bar and I asked the bartender to set up another round of drinks for everyone sitting at the bar and paid for it with my winnings. This is a very quiet and friendly atmosphere and it's a place to have a quiet and fun time drinking with your buddies. I highly recommend Kelly's Casino and Bar.“
“I get order of Fries or their Awesome Onion-Rings. Huge, huge serving. I take it home and it lasts for two days. I reheat in the oven. Staff are friendly. They got a large room Casino if you gamble and they serve free drinks in there. You can also order a meal and they bring it to the machine. I don't gamble but I do use their ATM as it's cheaper fee than the banks ATM. They gotta lot of Big-Flat-Screens to watch Sports. I no longer watch football now that it's allowed repugnant 'take-a knee, ignore the National Anthem and now play two National Anthems, one for Black African Americans and the National Anthem for the Rest of the United Citizens of the United States. I miss the good ole days and watching sports with friends at places like Lone Pine.“
“Stayed here with a group of friends over the 4th of July weekend and had some serious fun. The owners were great, super accommodating, and friendly. They hooked us up with EVERYTHING. Staff didn’t miss either, we had a good time with those guys as well. Drinks were on point for the atmosphere, I wish more bars in Montana had slushies on tap, which they do here. Grab a fishbowl from Cole, it will get the job done.“
“We always stop at the Sitting Duck for lunch or dinner when we're visiting Flathead Lake. The service is great, the food is fantastic, the atmosphere is warm and friendly and the lake view is absolutely phenomenal. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. Don't miss this gem when you're in the area!!“
“I love to karaoke, so Wednesday nights is when you’ll usually find me at the Buffalo Saloon and Casino.Nice cold frosty glasses for the beer. Always love that. Staff is friendly. Food must be good because they have a large restaurant and it looks like there’s always people in it, at least on Wednesday nights! ?“
