“June 15, 2025, my wife and I was invited to go to Sauce and Bread. Since moving to Montana from the NY metro area, I have not found an Italian/ Mediteranen restauant that could compare to NY restaurants. UNTIL NOW!!! I ordered Cappellini Bistro, a shrimp in garlic wine sauce and pasta. It was superb!!! As good and in my opinion better than any in NY. I highly recommend this restaurant. Sit down and enjoy an experience for Your Palate.”

So much food I couldn't eat it all and took the remainder to go. Basically got 2 meals for $20. The dinner portions are enough to easily feed two adults. Staff is friendly and attentive. “Everything here is GREAT! Food is delicious, most of it is probably just frozen, it’s still nice and tasty. Very, VERY quick service and food comes out ultra fast. One minor thing, the bathrooms, they need a remodel. The urinal doesn’t flush and it gives off a pretty gross odor, and the bathrooms area is kinda sketchy. That’s the only thing that’s bad, though. Server is super, hyper-friendly and nice! Thanks for this restaurant! I’d say it’s my favorite Asian place to eat. 😋❤️🥟”

“Usually yes, I’m Ex employee for 6+ years. Best coffee and great staff , today at 4pm went thru the drive thru drink was really bad. Shots were burnt no almond milk in my 12oz dbl americono pumpkin spice with almond milk. So went back in they remade it. 2nd drink was worse than the first and no milk added, and stirred. Asked for my money back the cashier young man was nice and said ok so sorry but then the drink maker guy came up and was so rude he asked what was wrong told him and I had to demand my money back, clearly he should not be making drinks and secondly he should take his time to get it right one hundred percent on 2nd try. Not going back you suck extremely disappointed and will be telling everyone. And to women in front of us that was yelling at drive thru in front of us and made a u turn in front of us, now we know we weren’t the only ones getting bad drinks. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😡😡😡 Dear Becky Reno please help this location.”

He was eating his BBQ chips when an employee walked by...he asked him to explain what the "Thinny Chips" were. The employee started to explain that they were a bit thinner and crisper with less fat...when he said, "I'll buy you a bag so you can try them!" Try them we did! They are much more to my liking and I never would have known (or tried them) without his help. Great customer service!”

“We love eating here. We use to eat here morw often and stopped coming back due to bad inconsistent service. We tried it again today could tell immediately today it was under new ownership! Not that it was super terrible before but you can tell new owners care, they took time to clean the grill and oil it up and clean as they went this was a new positive expirence and you could taste how fresh everything was and the difference!”

We visit different Mackenzie River locations throughout the year, and the food is always good and consistently prepared. However, our visit yesterday stood out because of the incredible service we received.

Our server was, without a doubt, the best server we’ve ever had—not just at Mackenzie River, but at any restaurant. She was attentive, anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Beyond being excellent at her job, she had a wonderful personality and was absolutely fantastic with our kids.

She truly made our dining experience memorable. The only downside is that she doesn’t work at a location closer to our home! We hope Mackenzie River knows what an exceptional employee they have.
