“We love coming here and the food is usually pretty good. But we were extremely disappointed today. We went to breakfast on st pattys day and there’s an older waitress who was in the little area getting food for one of her tables. One of the plates had a good size pile of hashbrowns on it. She just took her bare hands and grabbed some off of the one plate and put them on the second plate. She kept messing around with the food on the plates and then she took them out and delivered it. She then walked by with her finger in her ear, and then kept delivering food throughout the restaurant. I think that’s disgusting, use a fork? Or just leave it alone. We mentioned it to another waitress and she kinda shrugged and walked away. I get today was a busy day but that’s unacceptable.“
“Great breakfast place and all around great diner. You know what to expect coming into this place and it does not disappoint.This is the remains of the Hungryman’s biscuits and gravy after two of us had breakfast. I could walk away now or dive in and be full for the weekend.“
“Yelp said that they had some good pork chops. I called in the order. 20 minutes later, it was done. Hops seemed like a nice trendy restaurant in Kalispell that we could've eaten at. But, since the pandemic, most of our meals are takeout. Service was good on the phone and when I arrived. Yelp was right. The pork chops were good. The pork chop came with mashed potato and brocollini. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and was tasty. Vegetables were good too. Hops was a good place for us to get takeout during our roadtrip.“
“Outstanding and amazing service and food! Got away for a girls dinner and we were not disappointed! Our waitress was absolutely delightful! Host was super sweet too and took some pictures for us. Prices are relatively cheap compared to other nice restaurants. Definitely recommend!“
“This is such a fun spot to have a lunch date with your kiddos. We’ve had lots of yummy lunches here over the years. I enjoy getting a cheeseburger with the gluten free bun (for only 2.25 extra). They ask if it’s for allergy or preference reasons, and take care to avoid cross contamination.“

“I would rate the service better but out of the 2 times I've been there the first time was really bad and the second time was good. The atmosphere is more like a bar with lots and lots of TV's and as a result was very noisy. We go for the prime rib on Friday nights and it is delicious!“
“I have the chicken fried steak with cream gravy and real mashed potatoes and bread and it was awesome. I asked the waitress to let the cook go home early so they could enjoy the rest of the day because the chicken fried steak was perfect. I took a couple of pictures and I will share them but they look similar to others who have taken pictures. The waitress was excellent and attentive and very nice. The restaurant was very clean and I didn't have to wait I walked in and I was seated and I was served in about 15 minutes. I'm going to come back here because I love chicken fried steak it's my favorite. Although I did not have a homemade pie I noticed that they have homemade pies for sale. My next trip I will have chicken fried steak and a slice of pie. It's easy to get to the restaurant and they have easy in Easy Out parking. They accept credit cards and debit cards and cash.“
“We stopped here on a quick family trip to Montana and we all wanted something different, so this seemed the place to go. We were not disappointed.The kids had various kinds of burger (the Poutine, and the Smokehouse), my wife had the Tomato Basil pizza, and I had the Thai Pie....ok, so looking at it, we weren't all THAT different, but we knew what we wanted and it was great. The service was friendly and attentive, the prices were reasonable/standard for a family of 4 with two hungry teens, and it all hit the spot perfectly.A great meal. Will it blow your mind? “Breakfasts here are amazing. My wife and I took our family here with our 4, 3 and 1 year old. Wr were given a nice big booth toward the back where it was quiet. The kids got crayons and coloring page, a cool pirate cups with straws with their water that they are still using now. The the cool decor with cards and animals kept them entertained the entire time. Food came fast and was delicious. We had enough to eat the next morning! The biscuits and gravy or chicken fried steak are what i would recommend. The staff was kind and understanding when our 1 year old left a big mess under her highchair and told us not to worry about it and to enjoy our meal. Really nice environment and would happily go back again.“
“My wife and I eat a carnivore diet and as a result we have become a certain kind of steak snobs. We totally loved the ribeyes we got here. Spencer totally knocked it out of the park. Tender, perfectly prepared. Certainly at the top of our list for a great steak in the greater Whitefish/Kalispell area. Highly recommended.“
“The coffee here is always on point no matter if it's iced or hot. I'm really picky about my coffee so they've never disappointed me. Love love love the protein pucks too great snack packed full of protein. Wish there were more locations in the FH valley. Service is always fast friendly and helpful.“
“This is the first time I've been there. The server was so sweet, very attentive without being pushy, and just plain nice.The drinks and food were great. The chicken thigh sandwich ... y'all! It was very good. Juicy chicken fried perfectly on a bun that I couldn't fit into my mouth, was so good. ?The atmosphere was cozy with good background music. I'm sure they have great live music on the stage, but nothing live tonight. It was still great and a definite go to again.“
“One waitress on a Friday night, so a bit slow but service was great and she was amazing.Little pointer: the bartender likes to touch all the plates from the kitchen, not wash his hands, touch the seats of the chairs, touch the plates again and deny that his fingers were all over the plate. “Love the meals at Dave’s and have usually ordered a two meat meal, but decided to get just the brisket this time. I was surprised by the small portion of brisket. Maybe 4-5 slices for a meal that is nearly $20. Still good food, but I think they shorted me this day.“
“If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Anthony, the mixologist, was amazing! Such a helpful, engaged and talented dude. We had the house sour, amaretto sour, spicy coconut margarita (not on menu but ask for it), and the casa de Oro for drinks. All were fabulous, but the amaretto and spicy coco marg were out of this world. Like unbelievably good. For food we got the Brussels sprouts, cornbread with honey butter. And the apricot glazed pork shoulder. I wanted to lick the plate for everything because it was that damn good. Place is intimate and there is a two drink max per person. We came on a Friday at the end of winter and just walked in. But I can imagine you def need reservation in busier months as there is limited seating. Such a special place. Can't wait to come back when we visit Montana again.“
