Based on the reviews, Blue Samurai | Sushi Bar & Grill is the best sushi in the valley, offering fresh and tasty sushi without going overboard on what’s in and on the rolls. The food is amazing, with a great selection of rolls and nigiri made with the freshest ingredients. Popular menu items include the Salmon lover, tomahawk, spicy tuna roll, blue samurai roll, Sumo Rolls, beef yakisoba, and a banana and pear sake. The sake selection is decent. The restaurant is small with limited seating, so reservations are strongly recommended. Prices are a little steep, but the money is well spent. Service can be great, with kind and attentive waitstaff, though some servers can be hit or miss. The restaurant does a great job of turning tables. A lone diner might be directed to the sushi bar even when tables are open. Highlights include chocolate mints at the end of the meal. Overall, Blue Samurai is a worthy stop for a satisfying slice of Japanese flavor.
