The chicken Marsala and carbonara with shrimp were highlights, along with some of the best French bread and Tiramisu. The owner's presence adds to the experience, although some felt the Tiramisu portion could be larger. The ambiance inside is elegant and classic, reminiscent of the 1960s-70s Americana. The $13 Cesare Salad is upscale and flavorful, while the $18 Gnocchi Rose Pasta with added meatballs is delicious and filling. The Gnocchi Gorgonzola with added meatballs is creamy and cheesy. Despite some slow service and portion size issues, the food quality and unique flavors make Bella Italia worth a visit for authentic Italian cuisine in Kalispell.
